We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our warm, welcoming 22‑bed care home.

📌 Position Details
♡18–24 hours per week
♡£12.21 per hour
♡Every other weekend required
♡Must be able to cover annual leave when needed
♡Role includes all aspects of cleaning to maintain a safe, homely environment for our residents

💙 Who We’re Looking For
Someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and understands the importance of maintaining high standards in a care setting.

⚠️ Important Information
Due to the need for flexibility in covering annual leave, we are unable to accept applications from candidates on sponsorship visas, as some weeks we may require more than the permitted 20 hours for your second job.

Woodboro Christmas 2025 🎄✨

Well… as you can see, we don’t do Christmas by halves here. We take it very seriously possibly too seriously but would we have it any other way? Absolutely not.

The trees are up, the lights are glowing, the tinsel is fighting for its life, and the residents are already arguing over who’s on Santa’s naughty list. The staff? Running on caffeine, mince pies, and pure festive determination.

Every corner of Woodboro is sparkling, cosy, and full of that Christmas magic we love creating for our residents and families. It’s loud, it’s bright, it’s cheerful, and it’s exactly how we like it.

🎃🕸️ WOODBORO’S HALLOWEEN HAUNT WAS A SCREAM! 🕷️👻

From creepy cobwebs to devilish delights, our Halloween Party was a frightfully fantastic success! Huge thanks to our spooktacular staff who gave up their time, brought supplies, and summoned the spirit of the season with heart and humour. You made the magic happen!

A ghostly round of applause to the Just Singers for serenading us with spine-tingling tunes, and to all the family members who joined the fun—you brought warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of love to our haunted halls.

It was a day of joy, connection, and community (with just the right amount of mischief). Until next year… stay spooky! 🦇🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️

🍰 A Sweet Success – Thanks to You All! 💛

Yesterday’s cake sale at the home was nothing short of brilliant, thanks to every single one of you who baked, bought, brewed tea, or simply turned up with a smile and a sweet tooth.

The atmosphere was great, the cakes were flying off the table and the generosity was overflowing.

We haven’t quite finished counting the pennies yet as some donations are still trickling in but every crumb and coin is going towards a cause that means the world to us.

This fundraiser was held in memory of my dad, one of our much-loved handymen, who sadly lost his fight with cancer.

To our incredible staff: you never fail to show up with heart, humour, and hustle. And to our lovely visitors: thank you for making the day feel like a proper community hug.

We’ll share the final total soon but for now, just know you’ve made a difference. And yes, we’re still accepting donations and any left over bits of cake.
