Everyone at relatives relief hopes you have had a wonderful Christmas and we wish you all a healthy new year ๐๐
The new year will bring many changes for relatives relief and for my beloved mum Angela Bonney the ceo and founder of relatives relief Ltd.
It started 16 years ago, when angie decided that she wanted to create a person centred care agency that thrived on the personal touches, the little things, the unwavering empathy, patience and kindness.
Relatives relief enabled many hundreds within the community to stay within their own homes independently with support and encouragement from our amazingly dedicated team.
Throughout the years our team has grown from 4 or 5 care assistants to 50+ team members. All of which we have had the pleasure of working with and can say that the same care, respect and love was shown to employees and we operated as one....
The r&r family.
There have been many special moments to many to define and great achievements along the way for the company, for the team and as such earned us a reputation for being one of the best care companies within the area.
We have worked with many providers, organisations and have been so privileged to support this wonderful community that we have here in Tendring. As a small family firm it was a true honour to uphold these special personal connections with people within the community.
Sadly though the time has come for Angie to semi retire and begin a new chapter surrounded by the love and support of her family. Whilst there have been many many tears, conversations and upset from staff that she is to retire they are all in agreement this is her time to unwind now and spend precious time with her family.
We would like to thank all our current service users & families for their current support and understanding. We'd also like to thank all of the families and service users no longer with us for also allowing us the privilege to care for you.
We would like to thank all of our extended team, services such as District nurses, placement co-ordinators, support workers, pharmacies to name a few for their continued hard work in the community and for working with us over the years to making such a vital difference.
Lastly we would like to take this time to thank ALL staff past & present for their support and hard work throughout the years because without you we wouldn't of achieved the wonderful reputation that we hold so dear to our hearts
Thank you.
Becky on behalf of Angie & the relatives relief team ๐
