Onboarding & Induction Ratings - We recently asked 12 of our amazing new starters for their thoughts on our onboarding and induction experience; and we’re really pleased with the feedback!

Looking back on an incredible achievement!

Last year, some of our amazing team members took to the skies for our charity skydive - and what a success it was! Together, we raised over £2,800 for the brilliant Lennox Children's Cancer Fund 💙

Now, we’re getting ready to do it all over again… and this year, we’re proudly supporting Farleigh Hospice.

✨ What made you want to work in care?
“I started working in a care home as a cleaner. I loved the interactions I had with the residents and quickly changed my position to become a care assistant. From there, I progressed to a senior care assistant and have remained in care ever since.”

✨ How long have you worked for Ecare?
“I have worked for Ecare for 5 years.”

✨ What do you enjoy most about your role?
“Having good communication with clients, relatives, and the care assistants out in the field; working as a team and providing great care.”

✨ What is the most rewarding part of your role?
“Seeing the relationships between the care assistants and clients.”

✨ What do you like most about working at Ecare?
“The job opportunities. I have just been enrolled to start my NVQ Level 5.”

✨ How would you describe the team in 3 words?
“Approachable, caring, and supportive.”

✨ What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“Spending time with my family and having days out with my children.”

“Great Yarmouth in our caravan!”

🌿 Stress-Relieving Activities for Stress Awareness Month 🌿

Stress can affect anyone at any time. Taking time to look after your wellbeing doesn’t have to be complicated; small, simple activities can make a big difference 💙

We asked some of our team members what they like to do to de-stress, and this is what they said:

💬 "I like to go out for rides on my motorcycle, that's therapy on two wheels for me. I also enjoy going for walks with my dogs."

💬 "I like to spend time with my granddaughter, my stress melts away when I'm with her. I also enjoy going to the gym."

💬 "I like to clean whilst listening to music, I find it really therapeutic. I also love a bath with candles and a face mask."

💡 Other ideas that could help you de-stress:
