✨Myth BUSTING!✨
Over time, a few misconceptions about working in adult social care have deter people from joining the sector such as the ones below.
Myth 1: Care work is not just for women, it's for all genders and ages (18+). At E Care we have a strong team of both male and female Care Assistants!
Myth 2: Care work is not all about personal care. Personal care is one thing you may support someone with. They may also require your companionship, support with medication administration, food preparation and general help around the home.
Myth 3: Working in care can be one of these most satisfactory and rewarding jobs a person can ever do. Working in care is not just a job, it's a career with many opportunities for for growth and development gaining qualifications such as the Care Certificate and NVQ's which can lead to further education such as nursing or occupational health.
Myth 4:No experience is required at E Care, as people will have the opportunity to have training and gain necessary qualifications to become a great Care Assistant.
Myth 5: Working in care can be one of these most satisfactory and rewarding jobs a person can ever do. Having a positive impact and making a difference in someone else's life is truly heartwarming.
