Essex County Council are now providing free access to a range of wellbeing benefits and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for care providers in Essex.

These benefits are available through Vivup and are designed to support your mental, emotional, and financial wellbeing. Highlights include;

One of the most heartwarming parts of National Smile Month has been hearing the stories from our team—simple, powerful moments that show the impact of compassionate care. Shani, our Smile Month winner, shared a beautiful story that truly captures what care is all about:
"I often sing to a client who is mostly non -verbal, especially on days when she seems low in mood. Sometimes, to my surprise, she’ll join in and sing with me. Those moments always bring a smile to both of our faces."

It's in these small, tender gestures that the biggest difference is made. Thank you, Shani, for bringing light, music, and joy to those in your care 💙

Potted Flower Nominations - Thank you! 🌷

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who submitted nominations for our clients to receive a potted planter.

Your thoughtful gestures truly brought joy to our clients’ faces. Some of our office team had the pleasure of hand delivering the planters, and it was truly heartwarming to see the smiles and appreciation from our clients firsthand.

Each recipient was incredibly grateful for the beautiful gift and the kindness behind it. It's small acts like these that make a big difference. Thank you again for helping us spread positivity and care in such a meaningful way 💙

Brighten Someone's Day - A gift of Potted Flowers for Service Users! 🌷

We're excited to spread a little extra joy in aid of National Smile Month! We have a few beautiful homemade planters available made by our amazing Richard, Carrie, Jacqui and Sue.

We have asked our team of Care Assistants to think about which of their clients might enjoy receiving one as a surprise, someone who might be a keen gardener, loves nature, who is unable to get out to their garden or anyone who could use a little lift.

Nominations are currently being made by our team - We can't wait to deliver these out into the community. Let's make our clients, smile! 💙
