💜 Walton’s Forget Me Not Café runs every Friday 2-4pm and is free of charge to the local community, proudly supported by Access Dignity Care and Walton Community Centre. 💚

This welcoming space is for people living with dementia and their carers to come together, relax, and enjoy friendly company with others who truly understand.

Our qualified care staff and dedicated volunteers are always on hand to support, lead activities, and of course make plenty of tea and coffee!

Whether you’d like to join in with activities or simply enjoy a cuppa and conversation, you’ll find a warm, understanding environment here.

Confused about Attendance Allowance?

You’re not alone! Many families aren’t sure if they’re eligible, how to apply, or where to get the right support. Currently 1 in 3 people in the UK are missing out on attendance allowance payments equating to thousands of pounds each year.

We’re here to help.

Simply put you may be eligible if you:

✔️ Are of State Pension age
✔️ Live with a long-term physical or mental health condition (such as hearing loss, memory loss, or depression)
✔️ Need personal support or supervision to stay safe

Attendance Allowance is:

✔️ Tax-free
✔️ Not based on National Insurance contributions
✔️ Not means-tested (not affected by savings or income)

🏆 Our awards continued yesterday and we are so very proud of these guys for their amazing achievements…

🏆 Umar won the award of “Carers Carer” which is chosen by nominations from all of the carers. There was a resounding theme in the nominations that Umars colleagues thoroughly enjoy working with him and that his happy nature made them smile. Well done Umar! 💜💚

🏆 Our biggest award for “Carer of the year” was very rightfully given to the amazing Humza. Where to start with our praise for such an amazing carer. Humza is truly an absolute asset to us. The feedback from service users, fellow colleague and external professionals is noting but outstanding. Humza you are one in a million and you are so very lucky to have you 💜💚
