One of our lovely care workers lost her mother and needs some help to fund her funeral. I know times are hard for a lot of people at the moment but even a small donation would go a long way to helping.

Let’s all come together for one of our own and take some of the financial burden away so my carer can lay her mother to rest and focus on her own healing process. If you’re not able to donate, please share.

🦎🦎 The Adventures of Flash 🦎🦎

We had a busy day in branch on Friday so Flash spent most of the day in his vivarium staring at the branch team for entertainment; needless to say he had a bit of a boring day! 🤣 He finally got some time outside after hours and enjoyed a little run around on the grass. For the first time ever, he got to experience time in a tree. As you can see, it took a bit of getting used to but by the end of it he was camouflaging well and loving life. Flash will have a peaceful weekend before we all descend on Monday.

Flash is getting a lot of interest from some of the support teams and we are enjoying sharing his stories and how we came to have him as an office pet. 💜💜

The beautiful Daisy popped by for a visit on Friday to meet the branch team. I enjoyed some lovely cuddles with this little lady. She has the most beautiful eyes. 🥰🥰 Huge thank you to Ann for bringing her in. 💜💜

Team Clacton have survived one of the busiest weeks to date. We’ve welcomed new staff and clients to the branch and successfully transferred to new operating systems. A special thank you to Kelly, who has sacrificed her days off to assess new packages and support with person centred care plans. Also, Vicky, who has been sacrificing her days off to come to branch and tirelessly work her way through a mountain of archiving and telephone reviews. Then there is the care team; who are pulling together to make sure every client receives a high standard of care and support. This has meant putting up with us pestering for cover and also giving up days off to support the team. Each and every one of you play a vital role in making the branch a success. I am proud of the team we have and what we are achieving.

🦎🦎 The Adventures of Flash 🦎🦎

Flash had to endure a lead for the first time yesterday and wasn’t best pleased. We’ve treated him to some fresh locusts and he’s had some time to calm down. Day 2 on his lead and he’s tolerating it so much better. He was jumping into the bushes and sitting on the grass. He’s currently strutting around his viv and clearly thinks he’s a wild animal now!! Never a dull day for Team Clacton with this little guy keeping us entertained. 💜💜
