Please STOP using these phrases in your copy. (I’ll tell you what to say instead.)
(And let me know in the comments which one you're deleting).
Ban → Say
• Step into your power → 'Convert 30% of calls and book 6 sessions in 30 days.'
• Come home to yourself → 'Discover your values, set clean boundaries and stop people-pleasing, so you can [specific outcome they want].'
• Activate abundance → 'Feel great about charging £500 per session - and attract a steady flow of aligned clients.'
• Release what no longer serves you → 'Get 1:1 support to root out self-doubt and inertia for good - and a tailored action plan to help you turn your vision board into your life.'
• Unlock your highest potential → 'Turn your potential into practice: do the work you were born for, with soulmate clients who pay you well.'
Why vague doesn’t work
Vague phrases speak to everyone and end up speaking to no one. We often reach for them when we’re scared to narrow down or make a specific promise, or when we haven't done enough specific market research to know who, exactly, our ideal client is.
Specific, buyer-centred language is clear about who it’s for and what changes, so your soulmate client knows for sure that this is (or isn't) for her.
(If you feel resistant to being really specific, you might need to validate your offer and nail down exactly what you're promising, before you come back to your sales page).
If you want help translating your whole sales page into clear, human words (and aligned energy), ping me the link and I'll tell you what I'd suggest.
