A celebration of DEE’s life
Saturday 30th August
Starting at 3:00pm – (so please arrive earlier)
Le Gothique, The Royal Victoria Patriotic Building,
John Archer Way, Wandsworth, London SW18 3SX
Please join us for a joyful celebration of DEE’s life – a remarkable woman who filled the world with warmth, laughter, love, and kindness. Whether you knew her as a devoted wife, a brilliant mum, a loyal friend or simply crossed paths in one of her many acts of spontaneous generosity, you’ll know she was someone who truly lit up life.
The more reflective part of the afternoon will begin promptly at 3:00pm in the Great Hall, so please arrive a little earlier. After that, we’ll continue in the covered garden, which can carry us on with music, light refreshments, drinks, and good company. (Children are welcome but please no dogs)
This won’t be a sombre affair. Dee wouldn’t have wanted that. Instead, we’re gathering to remember, reminisce, share stories and raise a glass to a woman who gave so much to so many.
Parking is extremely limited, but public transport is relatively straightforward.
To help us plan for numbers, if you haven’t already, please RSVP (details below) and, importantly, please forward this invite to anyone who would want to join the celebration.
Let’s come together to honour Dee da Costa the way she lived, with Love, Laughter, and Light.
RSVP (Please don’t skip this bit!)
We’re using Partiful to collect RSVPs – it helps us keep track of numbers and send any relevant updates.

We’d really love to know if you’re coming so we can plan properly. Thank you!
