Pain Relief Derbyshire

Pain Relief Derbyshire Myofascial Release Therapy specialist, effectively easing pain and chronic pain. It can also be damaged by overly strenuous or unsuitable exercise.

Myofascial Release Therapy is a gentle, hands on form of pain relief and muscular treatment therapy that works on the body wide web of connective tissue called the . Restricted or damaged fascia creates trigger points which are painful areas of muscular tension commonly called "knots" and can also cause sensations related to trapped nerves, herniated discs etc
Anyone who has surgery fo

r an orthopaedic condition but still has not had any relief will find this useful. Restrictions in the can be caused by over or underuse of body parts, so sitting at a desk for long periods with poor posture for example. Fascia is also restricted by repetitive actions (typing, mouse use ) or similar actions. I don't just treat the areas where you feel the pain as I work with you to look at lifestyle issues that may be causing the pain...and they may be coming from areas that may not seem related. Our bodies are very good at compensating by overusing other parts! I also work on scar tissue from accidents or surgery which can cause restrictions deeper into the tissues that will have body wide implications. Scar tissue is the "tip of the fascial iceberg" creating problems that may seem unrelated to the pain you experience now. Help IS at hand, so reach out to me as I would love to help you

A good number of clients recently have said how welcoming it is just walking in to the Silver Web Holistic Centre and entering my room they sense the calmness.
When you are in pain, half the battle is staying calm because you are usually stuck in fight or flight mode.

Not that I'm mad about fascia (much)๐Ÿ˜† but I saw this web after a light rain and lo! THIS is what healthy fascia looks like in your body.
Delicate but incredibly strong strands of proteins existing in a fluid fascial extra cellular matrix. It's beautiful!!

Forgive the "fun police" ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธnature of this post, but with temperatures as they are and us being as we are, we like to get our arms, legs and other bits n bobs out in the sunshine ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž
Yay, great to get some Vit D and goodness knows we need it in the UK โ›ˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜…

You know there's a "but" coming...
Anyone with scars, particularly those that are less than 2 years old will want to slap on a very high factor sun cream on them if exposing them to sunlight, and I don't just mean FULL sun, but even under light clothing.

WHY? Well scar tissue is not as robust as original skin tissue and lacks the ability to cope with UV rays. Which means newer scars especially will burn and turn redder and stay redder.
Soooo, if you don't want that scar standing out when the tan has disappeared COVER UP!!

Stay sun safe anyway, for other reasons of course and get that Factor 30 to 50 on.
Its the same sun here or on the Costas ๐Ÿ˜‰

Restore Scar Therapy!

This amazing technique will work alongside my myofascial release treatments to support even deeper healing and recovery, especially after planned or emergency surgeries, or after injuries.

The scar you see on the surface is the tip of the iceberg. Underneath there can be adhesions forming that will impact on deeper tissues and organs potentially creating long term mobility issues amongst other problems.

Im so excited to bring this new offering to both new and existing clients.
