A problem shared is a problem halved. Imagine a story shared.

Sharing courageously the parts of ourselves, our experiences that we think hold little value for others, is actually a precious gift 🫂.

Someone, somewhere, hearing your story, is releasing a sigh of relief.

💭 I'm not alone.
💭 It isn't just me.
💭 I'm not a failure.
💭 I'm not losing my mind.
💭 My experience is valid.

A story shared is a connection made and healing set in motion.

🌿 This May, Mental Health Awareness is all about connection 🧠✨

Because, when we feel connected to others, our nervous system shifts into a state of calm and safety. Exactly what we need to nurture a healthy, resilient and balanced mental health state.

🫂Connection is not just emotional support, it’s essential regulation.

Spending time with the right kind of people, those who uplift us, understand us, and support us, can ease feelings of loneliness, reduce stress, and boost our sense of wellbeing and belonging.

It’s not about being extroverted, constantly social, or a social butterfly. It’s about finding meaningful connection in a way that suits who you are, surrounded by people whose presence makes you feel good.

💬 A chat with a friend, a brew with a family member, a shared walk in nature, a creative moment with someone who just gets you, a smile of acknowledgement to the familiar stranger you see on a regular basis as you go about your separate business, these simple acts of connection can have a powerful, positive impact on your mental health and wellbeing.

👉 I'm looking for 3 more people who are sick and tired of counting down the days until Friday, then spending the weekend dreading Monday morning coming around in the blink of an eye - every single week.

😖 It's midweek and already there's a bunch of stuff gone wrong since Monday, you got up in a rush and skipped breakfast so your energy is low and you've lost your motivation, the never ending to-do list is weighing on your mind so you're overwhelmed and keep putting things off making the situation worse, theres still two more days until the weekend...
