Sue is registered blind and has been joining my Tuesday morning online fitness class at 10:15am for almost six years— and she very rarely misses a session! 💪

We originally started in-person back in 2019, but when Covid hit, we moved online — and it’s been amazing ever since. Now, everyone can take part from the comfort of their own home! 🏡✨
If you or someone you know is visually impaired or blind and would love to improve your fitness in a friendly, supportive environment, this class could be just what you’re looking for. 💜🪑

“I have been attending Claire's zoom keep fit class for over five years which I thoroughly enjoy. I am registered blind and find that Claire is a really talented keep fit teacher. She manages to explain each exercise to us and each exercise can be adapted to anybody's individual level of fitness. There is a good selection of exercises some for the heart, some floor exercises and we also use exercise elastic bands and weights with some of our exercises. The class is great fun and a very good social activity. My fitness and balance has vastly improved due to Claire's classes. Over the years we have had sighted people as well as visually impaired people attending her classes and everybody gets benefit from the interaction between Claire and the attendees. Why not give it a try you won't regret it and you will have a fitter body”.

A few years ago, Hazel survived a stroke and faced challenges with her balance and coordination. But since joining my chair fitness classes, she’s made incredible progress — improving her strength, coordination, balance, and cognitive skills over the past year and a half. 💪✨
Hazel now enjoys coming to class twice a week for Chair Fitness and Chair Yoga/Pilates, and it’s been such a joy to see her confidence and ability soar!

Here’s what Hazel has to say:
“I've been going to Claire’s classes for a year and a half now. Before I started I had suffered a really bad stroke. I couldn't do anything, it took me 3 months before I decided to go back to work, I actually found it hard and was falling asleep when I got home, so I decided to retire, and in the January I went to Claire’s classes on Tuesday chair exercise, I noticed that I couldn't do certain moves, like moving my hands and legs at the same time so I hadn't got any coordination and my balance was bad. I am on my second year and I've started a pilates class as well, it's been a good year and a half and I've started to notice that I can move my hands and legs together so my coordination is getting better and my balance. I'm really pleased with myself, it just goes to show that if you persevere with it, it will get better.”

Another month of hard work last month from my early morning 7am group personal training ladies, strength & fitness increased massively well done ladies! ❤️ 🏋️.

If you too would like to try some weight /strength training but don’t know where to start and don’t really want to join a gym, or don’t have the confidence to go to the gym then come and join us!

⭐️ Venue- outside in a private venue in Stainland, (we have shelter from the rain?) but no one overlooking us.

⭐️ No judgement, no pressure, just encouragement

⭐️ Small friendly groups of up to 6 ladies.
