The sessions are a fun seated workout helping to improve strength, flexibility, co ordination & cognitive ability suitable for all abilities, followed by time to relax and socialise with a warm drink and a chat afterwards if you choose to.

I teach various chair-based fitness classes in the local area and have 35 years’ experience in the fitness world, and my aim is to help people stay active, improve mobility and enjoy moving in a friendly, supportive environment.

Our friendly community fitness classes in Stainland, Cleckheaton & Robertown are designed for all ages and abilities.

8 Things I don’t care about as a fitness instructor …

1. If you're new to fitness or have never done that class before, I'm so glad you're starting your journey with me.

2. What you're wearing, as long as you're comfortable and can move, I love it!

3. If you go wrong, that’s what we call freestyling in class and we love it! 😁

4. If you take a break, we all need a moment to reset sometimes.

5. If you’re not in the mood, showing up still counts

6. How old you are, my oldest participant in 92 years young, and still rocking it!!

7. If you modify a movement, that's smart training, not slacking.

8. How much weight you're lifting - correct form beats ego lifts every time.
