School holidays are at the end of the week for us, and I can't wait for my adventures with Matilda.

My working hours are slightly changing over the holidays so I can spend some quality time with Matilda, until I drive her mad and I'm also making the most of it whilst she still wants to spend time with me!

The next meeting with the amazing team from Northern Lincolnshire Home Birth Group is on the 17th of July at 10:00am in Scunthorpe at Cafe Indie.

Here you can ask all the questions you have ever wondered about home birth and listen to people who have had home births and their experiences.
The group gives you knowledge and power regarding your options for your birth and as an added bonus you get a free hot drink and cake!

So as many of you know, I love a challenge!

This year I will be embarking on another marathon trek in the Cotswolds with my best ones. We did this last year and it was such an amazing experience and we raised so much for CoppaFeel. It was so tough but so incredibly rewarding when we crossed the finish time.

Just to add to my to-do list, I have also decided to do a sponsored skydive at Hibaldstow!
No I will not be Base Jumping and no Matilda won't be coming with me just yet!

CoppaFeel is an amazing charity and is the only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity. You can get breast cancer at any age and detecting it early is essential.
It is also close to my heart with my Oncology massage treatments I do, and I'm seeing more and more young people coming through my door.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ FOR PARKING INFORMATION FOR APPOINTMENTS

As I’m sure many of you know, Armed Forces Weekend will soon be here!

It’s an amazing thing for the town and being chosen to be the national one this year is just fantastic.
So whilst things are being set up and going on, there are a few changes to the parking here at the Leisure Centre.

The main car park will be closed to all users, except Blue Badge Holders and Leisure Centre pass holders from Tuesday the 24th of June at 11pm until Monday the 30th of June at 6:30am.
Entry is being manned so please don’t try to get in unless you have a pass.

There are many other places to park when coming for your appointment:
Street parking is available nearby and on the seafront.
Near the Boating Lake there is a car park too.
There is free parking by McDonalds and Starbucks but please be aware of limited times so as not to get fined.

If you are struggling to get parked and are running late, please ring me.

How is everyone doing in the heat?
Whilst it is gorgeously warm, if not a little uncomfortable for my gorgeous pregnant ladies, this is a gentle reminder that I use oil in my treatments.

Please be aware that after your treatmant you should either stay covered, or wash off the area that has been treated.
Going out into the heat with oil on your skin will cause skin damage and I wouldn't want that to happen to you.

If you would like to wipe or wash off the oil before you leave, you are more than welcome.
I always remind my clients after every treatment about the sun and oil and remember to keep hydrated.

I'd like to do a little introduction even though I know some of you already know me.
I am Jenny, a massage therapist based in Cleethorpes. I live by the sea with my gorgeous family and I absolutely love my job!

I’m not one for putting personal things on here but just a few big thank yous are needed.

We’re now finally home after a little week long stay in Meerkat Manor at the Diana, Princess of Wales hospital with Matilda.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all the paediatric doctors, nurses, surgeons and staff we have seen. I know some of you are clients and you are just amazing. We felt truly looked after from start to finish.
Rainforest ward is just amazing 🥰

Does anyone know how hospital toast tastes so good?

Also another thank you to my fabulous clients who I had to cancel at last minute. Thank you so much for understanding 🥰.

Matilda is now home and back to her wild self which we are thrilled about 🥰.

Today is spent being a taxi driver and lunch buyer for my gorgeous 10 year old and her friends. These are my only jobs today as I am not cool enough to be around 🤣 (turns out 🤣 emoji signifies I’m old too and we now use 💀and “literal”)
Luckily I get to spend it here at Normanby Hall though.

It also means I can have a look at my business model and research the amazing

I’m so excited to say that I am now a consultant for them, coming soon will be their products in my treatments and amazing items for you to buy too!
