I am so very proud the recieve this card in the post today. 5 years ago today, on Thursday 4th January 2018 I launched my first ever Slimming World group at The Grimsby Institute. A lot has changed since then, mainly due to Covid, but what hasn't changed is my love for helping and supporting people to lose weight and achieve their dreams. As someone who has struggled with my own weight all my life, helping and supporting others into weightloss success feels as wonderful for me as it does for them.❤️

🥰If you have been with me as a member at any point in my Consultant journey, I want to thank you, you have made these 5 years so very worthwhile. 🥰

And if you'd like to join me, you can now find me at the Beachcomber on a Saturday morning at 8am and 10am. ❤️

Today has been a good day 🙂
Breakfast was my old faithful, mushrooms and poached eggs on 2 slices of nevilles wholemeal bread (heb)
Lunch was a rocket, tomato, feta (hea) and basil salad with a drizzle of olive oil & balsamic vinegar (1syn) and some pine nuts (3 syns)
Tea was the Cantonese Lemon Chicken from the raffle on Sat (1 syn)
With rice.

I've also snacked on fruit. 😋

DEAR RETURNING MEMBER,

I'm getting a few messages from people wanting to come back to Slimming World, so let me put your minds at rest......

This post is for those of you who are thinking of returning to one of our SW groups or maybe you’ve been meaning to for a while.

And in 'thinking' I mean you’re saying to yourself:
‘’Oh my goodness, I haven’t been in ages.’’
“I have put so much weight back on.’’
‘’I have joined so many times now, I'm terrified what they’ll think.’’
These feelings are what keep us down and away from group.

BUT please let me reassure you that in our Slimming World Groups, you will be welcomed back with a hug and a warm smile! 😊

MOST importantly there is no shame, blame or humiliation. Returning member, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and prove to yourself (as nobody else really matters) what you're truly made of! 💪🏻

🏆 Let’s start 2023 with a bang!🏆 xx
