Put your best foot forward in 2022, make sure your feet continue to be strong and healthy. Consider these foot-focused solutions in the new year.

📌 Big goals are great but starting smaller and taking up an activity that indirectly challenges your feet like yoga, pilates or golfing are also great for strengthening your ankles and feet.

📌 Perform a one-minute foot health check at least once a week, or more than that if possible. If something is off or you notice a new development, set up an appointment with your primary care physician or foot specialist.

📌Resolve to buy any new shoes in person this year so that you can ensure they fit as intended before you make the purchase.

📌 Be better about caring for your toenails in the new year. Trim the toenail straight across instead of rounding the corners, because rounded corners can increase your risk of developing an ingrown toenail, and don’t cut the nail overly low. BEFORE ➡️AFTER 💫

This lovely client has suffered with Onychomycosis (fungal nail) for 20+ years in her big toe nails. She has tried multiple over the counter topical treatments and has even tried oral anti-fungal tablets in the past to no effect. It got to the point where she could not even cut the nail now as the infection was so advanced, so she booked in for her first visit with us today, and she is absolutely over the moon with the results!

With our specialist equipment we were able to greatly reduce the thickness of the big toe nails, and she has commenced with Emtrix treatment today. She will continue with daily application of Emtrix and she has rebooked to see us again in 6 weeks. Watch this space for progress updates!! 🦶🏻
