🎲 Get Ready to Roll! Clevedon Board Game Social - First Meet-Up! 🎲
Hey Clevedon! Looking for a fun, relaxed way to connect with people and enjoy some friendly competition?
I'm excited to announce the launch of the Clevedon Board Game Social! This is a brand new, free-to-join group for anyone who loves board games, or wants to learn. It's all about building a friendly community right here in town, sharing a laugh, and playing some great games.
Our first social is happening very soon:
* When: Thursday, June 26th, 2025
* Time: Join us from 7:30 PM
* Where: Salthouse Pub, Clevedon
* Cost: Absolutely FREE to join!
We'll have a mix of games available, from popular classics like Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Camel Up, to party games like Just One, and strategic favourites such as Lords of Waterdeep. Feel free to bring your own games too, or simply play from our growing collection!
While the group leans towards an adult-friendly vibe, all are welcome. Whether you're a seasoned player or completely new to board games, come along, meet some new faces, and have a fantastic evening!

Every May as part of the North Somerset WalkFest our We Are Aware peer community undertake a collective virtual walking challenge. In the past we've cover Land's End to John O'Groats (and partly back), Clevedon to Ukraine, the Salt Path (finishing up over excitedly in Southend!) This year we attempted the Appalachian Trail- which was a big step up in miles (2193). We haven't quite made it in May, but we're continuing the challenge into June. To keep everyone moving and involved where they can. Every Step Counts!

A brilliant afternoon at our peer support with Helen leading a Shaun the Sheep workshop. Helen is an amazing animation artist working with Aardman Studios. An entertaining, fun session of creativity and chat. And an awesome collection of unique interpretations of Shaun!

Still time to get tickets to see Becky Walsh 's Toss Bag Show at Theatre Shop this week. Becky's been an amazing supporter of We are Aware - Local : North Somerset, UK both in terms of fundraising for us, and running some great group sessions for the We Are Aware Community.
