At Network Healthcare, caring for our community goes beyond treatment - it’s about prevention too. That’s why we’re supporting Know Your Numbers! Week (8–14 September), the UK’s biggest blood pressure awareness campaign.

High blood pressure is known as the “silent killer” because it often has no symptoms. Yet it affects 1 in 3 UK adults, and many don’t even know they have it.

👉 Next week, we’re encouraging everyone to take just a few minutes to check their blood pressure.

Here’s how you can take charge of your health:
✔ Get your blood pressure checked at home, at your pharmacy, or through your GP
✔ Learn what your numbers mean - ideal is under 120/80 mmHg
✔ Encourage loved ones to do the same

💜 Hollywood Star Joins the Fight Against Alzheimer’s
Actor and comedian Seth Rogen has become an official ambassador for Alzheimer’s Research UK, using his platform to raise awareness and drive real change.

Rogen has been a vocal advocate for dementia awareness since his mother-in-law was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s at just 55. Alongside his wife, he co-founded Hilarity for Charity, supporting families and funding research.

🧠 “We need to break the stigma around dementia, and it starts by talking about it,” says Rogen.

Why this matters for us in home care:
Many of the individuals we support are affected by dementia.

High-profile advocacy like this helps shine a light on the urgency of funding, education, and compassionate care.
