DANCING AT CLEVEDON COMMUNITY CENTRE ❤️

I learnt ballet when I was a child in the very same room that I teach in now. When I viewed the hall I knew I just had to teach there, it smelt the same and I had this wonderful nostalgic feeling with memories of me walking through the same doors for my lessons and ballet exams. My Mum also took ballet classes in the same room 30 years before me, I just had to teach there.

CHAIR YOGA - Clevedon

Chair yoga is a gentle and accessible practice of yoga with the support of the chair. It is perfect for those who have limited mobility and balance or those who struggle to get up and down from the floor. You are welcome to stay seated for the duration of the class or can stand and use the chair for support

🧡 Enjoy stretches and flowing movements to increase flexibility
🧡 Build strength gently with accessible exercises and increase mobility
🧡 Use props such as bricks and straps to activate and use a variety of muscles
🧡 Bring calm and stillness to the mind with meditation
🧡 Learn breathing techniques to improve sleep, reduce stress and improve overall well being
🧡 Meet other lovely members of the community and have fun in this light hearted and welcoming class

A year ago today I launched AKASA Dance with just DanceFit and Style It! Now, a year later I am absolutely loving being able to offer other classes too including yoga, chair yoga, pregnancy yoga and Baby and Me dance and yoga!

What a year it has been and I have loved every minute. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this new adventure ❤️
