Anna first came to the Hawthorns with her beloved dog, Willow, on a temporary stay after winter floods made her home uninhabitable.

🤝 From the moment she arrived, she was warmly welcomed by residents and staff, enjoyed our fun activities, and loved the freshly prepared meals.

What started as a short stay quickly turned into something more - Anna decided to make the Hawthorns her permanent home. We couldn’t be happier to have her (and Willow!) with us. 🐕💛

What a wonderful day here at The Hawthorns Clevedon as we celebrated the Harvest Festival with kindness and generosity! 💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone for your wonderful donations — how kind of all involved to support those less fortunate in our local community.

Special thanks to Sue and Kelly from Clevedon and District Foodbank CIO, who kindly collected all the donations and will ensure they are distributed to people in need. 🙏

Our amazing residents, staff and visitors took great pride in supporting this initiative, which resulted in an impressive 66kg of goods donated! 🥫✨

This week’s Monday lunch began with a stunning starter — Beetroot Salad with Goat’s Cheese and Balsamic — a perfect blend of colour, flavour, and nutritious goodness! 💜😋

We truly eat with our eyes first, and we’re so proud to serve a well-balanced, nutritious diet where presentation, taste, and quality all come together to delight our cherished senior residents here at The Hawthorns Clevedon.

A big thank you and congratulations to our fantastic Head Chef Ceri and his talented team for maintaining such an incredibly high standard, and to our dedicated, friendly, and ever-attentive Dining Room Staff for serving every meal with such care and warmth. ❤️
