A Memorable Evening Celebrating the Stephens Car at Clevedon Court 🚘🌙

What a truly special evening at Clevedon Court, celebrating the incredible Stephens Car and the inspiring legacy behind it. Two of our team members, Aggie Jasinski, Client Liaison Manager, and Lorraine Lane, Deputy Manager, had the pleasure of attending the exclusive Stephens Premier event.

We were immensely proud to represent The Hawthorns Clevedon, who are honoured to be part of the project to create a monument that will pay lasting tribute to the visionary Richard Stephens and his pioneering Clevedon motorcar.

One of the most unforgettable moments was seeing the incredible replica of the original Stephens Car – unveiled for the very first time and displayed side by side with the original vehicle. A powerful tribute to innovation, heritage, and community spirit.

It was also deeply touching to meet the next generations of the Stephens, Shopland, and Elton families and to hear the remarkable story behind this iconic piece of motoring history.

A huge thank you to Clevedon Cars & Coffee® for organising such a meaningful and well-curated event. We were honoured to be part of it.

🎉 Fabulous Fiesta Day at The Hawthorns Clevedon! ☀️

What a truly glorious day we had on Saturday! Residents, visitors, and staff all came together for a fantastic day of sunshine, laughter, music, and fun at our Fabulous Fiesta Day in the beautiful Hawthorns Clevedon seafront setting. 🌊🌞

We kicked things off with a buzzing atmosphere – refreshing welcome drinks, wonderful performances from the Miscellany Choir, delicious BBQ treats, and traditional ice cream from a lovely local van. 🍦🍔🎶

From 3pm, things turned up a notch with a sensational Mariachi Band, flowing sangria, tasty tapas, and lots of smiles! 🍷🥘

A highlight of the day was our piñata bashing competition, raising money for the amazing Weston Hospicecare – what fun and all for a great cause! 💪🎯🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the event, and made it so incredible. Special thanks to our wonderful guest Amy Wadge Page – it was a pleasure to share this day with you! 💛

And hats off to all the incredible staff involved and the fantastic Weston Hospicecare Community Fundraiser Darran – you all made it happen. 👏👏👏

✨ A perfect day in every way – sunshine, community spirit, and lots of joy. We can’t wait for the next one!

Congratulations to Lulu on completing her work experience at The Hawthorns Clevedon!

We were delighted to welcome Lulu to our retirement community for her week of work experience. From the very first day, she approached every task with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to get involved.

Lulu demonstrated excellent people skills, interacting warmly and respectfully with both residents and staff. Her natural ability to engage with others brought smiles to many faces, and her thoughtful approach made a meaningful impact in our community.

Lulu was also a great team player, always eager to assist wherever needed and work collaboratively with others. Her reliability, initiative, and cheerful presence made her a pleasure to have on the team.

We sincerely thank her for her contributions and wish her all the best in her future endeavours. She would be an asset to any workplace.

The Hawthorns Clevedon recently hosted an incredible "Taste of Somerset" event, uniting residents, families, friends, and the local community in North Somerset!

Over 300 guests enjoyed cider, Cheddar strawberries, and elderflower fizz in the sunny seafront setting.🍓

The Miscellany Choir and Barnacle Buoys provided beautiful local music, while attendees indulged in a delicious BBQ lunch, local cheeses, and traditional ice cream. 🍦

Stallholders showcased Somerset products, and Clevedon Care volunteers added to the festive spirit.

Customer Services Manager, Aggie Jasinski, praised the event, highlighting the outstanding food, music, and community spirit. A massive thank you to all who made the day memorable! 🌞🧀🍏
