A fully equipped Pilates studio offering machine work and matwork, a teacher training programme affi We are located at Unit 4 Britannia Way, Clevedon. BS21 6Q.

We are aPilates and physio centre in Clevedon where we offer rehabilitation, machine-based Pilates taught by highly qualified Pilates Instructors and specialist physiotherapy in our fully equipped neuro treatment gym. We specialise in rehabilitation after injury or illness, particularly neurological conditions. We also run mat classes and offer a Pilates Teacher Training programme diploma affiliated with Active IQ and Alan Herdman. The studio is run by Karen Pearce, Pilates Instructor and Teacher Trainer and Sarah Sessa, Neuro Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor.

The Physio and Pilates Rehab Centre fully comprehensive course is the only Bristol based Pilates training course to be recognised globally. It is affiliated with Alan Herdman who is a world-renowned Instructor and brought Pilates over to this country in the 1970’s.

The course covers all aspects of Pilates training, from beginners mat work to advanced equipment work (Reformer, Trapeze, Combo Chair and Ladder barrel), including knowledge of most conditions and special populations with a focus on rehabilitation.

The course runs from September to end of June and takes place every Thursday at our
Clifton studio, (access to our other studios for self practice is included in the course).

Spaces are limited and going fast so please don’t miss out!

We are excited to announce a new workshop, Pilates and the Menopause, for Pilates teachers, by menopause author and Pilates menopause expert, Dinah Siman at our Pilates studio in Clifton.

In this workshop, Dinah will help you:

• Learn about all stages and variations in Menopause

• Increase the efficacy of Pilates teachers to design and incorporate new material for their clients.

• Equip Pilates teachers with a robust teaching toolkit for the menopausal client to enable them to expand their practice.

• Educate Pilates teachers about all stages and variations in menopause.

• Raise awareness of the effect on the physical, emotional, and mental health of the menopausal client.

• Provide a resource for Pilates teachers to enable them to signpost clients to specialist help and to empower them to be able to make informed choices about their welfare and treatment during this stage of their life.

Our Story

We are a successful Pilates studio and physiotherapy clinic based in Clevedon, near Bristol and are very excited to have recently moved into a larger premises to accommodate growing demand for our services. We offer Pilates sessions using state-of-the-art equipment such as the Reformer, Trapeze , Core Align, Combo chair and Ladder Barrel as well as matwork classes. We also run rehabilitation physiotherapy sessions, often combining Pilates machine and have seen some fantastic results. Our staff consist of specialist neurological physiotherapists and fully trained Pilates Instructors, all of whom are highly experienced in management of medical conditions, particular neurological conditions. In addition to this we run a Pilates Teacher Training programme that is affiliated to Alan Herdman and registered with Active IQ. The training is apprenticeship-based giving the student a great opportunity to work in an exciting rehabilitation environment.
