🩺 Know Your Numbers! 🩺

At Network Healthcare, caring for our community goes beyond treatment - it’s about prevention too. That’s why we’re supporting Know Your Numbers! Week (8–14 September), the UK’s biggest blood pressure awareness campaign.

High blood pressure is known as the “silent killer” because it often has no symptoms. Yet it affects 1 in 3 UK adults, and many don’t even know they have it.

👉 Next week, we’re encouraging everyone to take just a few minutes to check their blood pressure.

Here’s how you can take charge of your health:
✔ Get your blood pressure checked at home, at your pharmacy, or through your GP
✔ Learn what your numbers mean - ideal is under 120/80 mmHg
✔ Encourage loved ones to do the same

We’re proud to support our patients, staff, and community in staying healthy and informed. 💙

🚍 For many of us, catching the bus or train is second nature. But for people with learning disabilities, public transport can feel confusing, unsafe, and overwhelming.

A recent Mencap report found that nearly half of adults with a learning disability feel unsafe using public transport. At Network Learning Disabilities, we’re proud to support both adults and children in learning how to travel safely and confidently.

Through travel training, coping strategies, and advocacy, we empower people to:
✨ Build independence
✨ Gain confidence
✨ Stay safe
✨ Open doors to work, friends, and opportunities
