✨ Rest isn’t always easy ✨

Since having a baby, switching off my mind has been one of the hardest things to learn. For a long time, true rest felt impossible — and honestly, unsettling.

But with time, practice, and patience, I’ve found that it is possible. I can now find moments where both my body and mind feel safe enough to switch off — and that’s where deep rest and calm live.

As a Pilates teacher, I see this journey in SO many others too. Especially in the final few minutes of class when we unwind. Rest doesn’t just “happen.” It’s something we build on by giving our bodies and nervous systems the safety and support they need.

💡 This is where Pilates comes in. Slow, intentional movement paired with breath has been shown to activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the “rest and digest” state. By focusing on alignment, breath, and gentle control, Pilates tells the body: you are safe. And when the body feels safe, the nervous system can soften, and rest can finally unfold.

🕊️ If you’re finding rest difficult — begin by creating the conditions for it. Support your body, steady your breath, and try and slow down your day. And as a quote I once saw said, “We weren’t designed for this quick demanding life, slow down and enjoy it!”

PILATES ✨

We’re coming to the end of our second block of 2025. So good to have you all back in the studio!

I’m really enjoying the time to decompress and find that small moment of calm throughout our hectic days. Teaching allows me to completey zone out and be present with the class. I’m noticing more and more how everyone is rushing and stressing about their days. Taking time to relax and completely zone out is so important. Ask yourself if you have a moment within your week to completely switch off, tune in with your body and quiet your mind a little?

Booking for block 3 - March is live on Sunday at 10am ⏰

At the moment, booking goes live for regular attendees on our WhatsApp group first. The last 2 months this has fully booked the classes.

✨Stretch and Sweat - 90min. Saturday 15th March ✨ Open to all!

I do have a very long waiting list but please do message if you would like to join. I am considering adding in another class shortly so do show interest if so!

Clinic appointments are back on Monday 10th February. Booking will be live on Sunday 2nd Feb @ 10:00 for all appointment types.

Pilates Classes are running as usual, and the long awaited monthly Stretch & Sweat event is back 🌟 Saturday 15th February 08:30-10:00.

Please note that weekly pilates classes are currently full with a waitlist, but the monthly event is open to all!

I am now officially on maternity leave until early 2025 🤰🏼🌟

I want to take this time to thank each and every one of my clients for your support over the last 9 months (and beyond)!

I feel super proud to have worked up until this point, but I’m not sure my humongous bump and swollen feet could hack the physical side of the job for much longer 😂

I’m already looking forward to seeing you all again in the new year… but for now, I’ll be handing everything clinic related over to . Nick will continue to offer Physiotherapy appointments in the clinic, but will only have limited availability around other work commitments (and new dad life!)

My favourite class of the month. A 90 minute morning session to start the weekend strong. Bookings for all classes next month opens tomorrow at 10am.

Monday 18:00-19:00 (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th)
Thursday 18:00-19:00 (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th)

Saturday 27th July - Stretch & Sweat 09:00-10:30

Friday Flow has taken a back seat and stretch & sweat is the only monthly session until Katie’s maternity leave. It will return in the new year ✨
