Tudball Opticians is Clevedon's only independent optical practice. A wide range of spectacle frames, including designer brands, complements your vision needs.

The practice has been established for over twenty years, opening on the delightful Hill Road in upper Clevedon in 1996. We are known in North Somerset as high quality opticians and our continuity of care also attracts patients from many parts of the country. We provide a high level of optical service and advice, using the latest lens technology and designs to meet the needs of varied and busy lifestyles. Our clinical services offer sight testing, contact lens checks and supply, enhanced testing and a hearing service.

With it being the start of September next week, I’d usually be changing the window display over to an autumnal vibe. Thing is, I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to summer (or want to scare it off before my holiday) 😂
I love the change of season usually but am I the only one not quite ready to finish with summer this year?….. 🤔

Our wonderful Lis is celebrating 20 years with us here at Tudball’s. I’m so very grateful for all the work Lis has put in over the years, firstly as a receptionist and then working behind the scenes (along with our equally hard-working Jean) to keep the business running with all things admin and stock control. I truly would be lost without you both.
(I’m also never letting either of them retire) 😂🤣

Thanks to Posies of clevedon for the beautiful flowers too. All in Lis’s favourite colour blue!

Whilst we have some staff on holiday over the next couple of weeks I thought I’d do a spot of painting and refreshing in the practice. (because I don’t have enough going on at home with a full house and garden renovation) 😂
We are open and have clinics running but you just might find me up a ladder and paint splattered in between. 😉🤣

I’m so excited to announce the launch of the beautiful LA Eyeworks collection here at Tudball’s. If you’re looking for truly individual, quirky pieces, then you have to come in and try this collection.

I had great fun yesterday,when it was pouring with rain and all looking a little grey, putting this window display together. There’s so much fun and colour! 🤩🥳

We love seeing how you’re getting on with your spex and I’m loving this photo I’ve just been sent from Steve from 67baristabarber who’s finding his Bolle sunnies, that we did for his ski holiday, are also “a great bit of kit” for drinking beer in the sunshine whilst on their 5 week van trip. What an adventure! 😎☀️

We’d love to see more of your snaps showing off your latest looks, so make sure you tag us… 😉

I popped into Rossiter & Sons today to take a piece of jewellery in to be re sized and was blown away by the knowledge that Tim has. Utterly fascinating but one of the many things I learnt was that quite often watch makers also made spectacles! 🤓 Tim was able to show me old frames and lenses they still had as well as the old sticker in the safe that said watchmaker, jeweller and optician!
Thank you so much Tim, it was lovely to learn some local history and the crossover between our two businesses.
