Tudball Opticians is Clevedon's only independent optical practice. A wide range of spectacle frames, including designer brands, complements your vision needs.

The practice has been established for over twenty years, opening on the delightful Hill Road in upper Clevedon in 1996. We are known in North Somerset as high quality opticians and our continuity of care also attracts patients from many parts of the country. We provide a high level of optical service and advice, using the latest lens technology and designs to meet the needs of varied and busy lifestyles. Our clinical services offer sight testing, contact lens checks and supply, enhanced testing and a hearing service.

Christmas arrived extra early last week when (camera shy) 😂 Becky from popped by with a gorgeous pair of ME +EM trousers she just knew I’d fall for… and wow, was she right! 😍✨

This is the magic of shopping with small, independent businesses — you’re not just a customer, you’re someone they genuinely know and care about. They remember your style, your vibe, and they keep their eyes peeled for pieces that will make you feel amazing.

Anyone who’s ever shopped with Becky knows exactly what I’m talking about. Her styling advice? Spot on. Her confidence-boosting powers? Honestly unmatched. At this point, I’m convinced she should be available on prescription… 😉😍

As the year comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors this year 🤍

To all our wonderful long-standing patients, thank you for your continued trust and loyalty over the years. And to all the new faces who’ve discovered us recently, we’re so grateful you chose Tudball’s — it’s been a joy welcoming you.

We’ll soon be taking a well-earned festive break before returning refreshed and ready for what promises to be an exciting year ahead. We have some lovely things planned for 2026, so keep an eye out… 👀✨

The diary is already filling up for next year, and we only have a handful of sight-test appointments left for 2025! If you’re hoping to be seen before the Christmas break, give me a call and I’ll get you booked in quickly.

I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by — how are we already down to the last couple of weeks?! 😳

It’s been such a joy meeting so many new faces, taking the time to understand your needs, and helping you find glasses that not only look amazing but truly solve the issues you’ve had with your current pair.

Thank you all so much for your support. In a world full of big chain opticians, it means the world to hear how much you value the level of care and time we offer here. I’ve genuinely loved getting to know each and every one of you.

We can’t wait to see you all tonight! It’s going to be a magical evening of music, food, drink and Christmas shopping.
(We hear there might even be snow on its way ) 😉❄️

The park and roads will be lit up and there will be lots of nutcracker themed merriment going on.

We will be open as soon as my chief Elf finishes his day shift with Father Christmas and I will be out and about helping on the street, so do come and say hello.

We have lots of great stocking fillers as well as gift vouchers available. Perfect for the stylish spectacle wearers in the family.
