I only hand out orthotics if all other methods have been addressed but, TBH, they can be a cracking adjunct to prevent the foot succumbing to the hard westernised surfaces that we now find ourselves on
For the extremely flat/mobile foot or extremely arched/Cavoid foot the can be a game changer too

What annoys me about the way podiatry is taught is the failure to understand how the back affects lower limb function, as though they’re separate entities?! If the podiatrist wants to understand how to improve lower limb function then they’re just going to have to look at the body as a whole because you ain’t going to be treating one if you don’t understand the involvement of the other. Healthy back function is critical to lower limb function, wilful lack of knowledge ain’t going to change that

I just fan gurled in the background 😂 Later on had a cracking session in the gym with an awesome chap who’s smashing his rehab and was lucky enough to have the physios kindly let me do my thing, after some hugs and some banter obvs. So amazing to catch the perfect who was as charming as ever

Honoured to be working with Mr as he teaches a compact but comprehensive TCCC to civilians
I’m NOT a combat medic but I’m an extremely enthusiastic health care worker who can add a smidge of knowledge about minor wounds and some crappy splinting
I know the audience learnt a shed tonne, I certainly learnt that I NEVER want to be in a mass casualty situation because even the God Shiva would have kittens with the amount of skills you’d have to handle
Thanks to .dnipro for some fabulous gear to work with as the audience noticed the quality difference immediately between their TQs and cheaper alternatives
Hope I get invited back but next time I’ll have my ducks in a row to talk a little more sense 😬

This little tyke is a rescue kitten from Kyiv who was found emaciated on an abandoned building. Unfortunately my colleague from has a nasty habit of keeping said kittens and turning them into pampered little princes and princesses 😂
As you can see young Cicero is in a terrible state and truly suffering in his new home 🤨😂
