This legend has been supporting the Ukrainian military for over three years to it’s only right that he should be supported too. These tourniquets from Dnipro are life savers and will help some children get to see their fathers again, yup, they’ll save the life of a Dad 😓

Honoured to have had this stunner trust me with a bit of rehab. Mac suffered horrific burns to his lower legs when the truck he was next to was hit by a missile and had to undergo excruciating grafts to facilitate healing. He is currently in a burns unit in Ukraine and is having a torrid time due to the pain of even the slightest movement causing exquisite pain to the burns sites
❤️Yet he remains incredibly stoic. He’s an absolute delight of a man and I know he has the courage and character to recover

This legend is called panda and panda copes with excruciating knee pain. Despite this he keeps ploughing on so it is an honour and a privilege to try to help.
Working with these men and women I meet heroes of a calibre that is beyond my comprehension and it motivates me and compels me to keep going back.

Pinched this from and Prof Jill Cook and it’s unfortunately spot on. Under loading patients is born of fear of litigation and ignorance and, in my opinion, is grossly un professional as it deludes patients into thinking they’re weaker than they are. Heavy loading can be achieved if the movement is carefully considered and rapidly speeds up recovery as heavy loads stimulates the Central Nervous System to kick in and aid repair
If you’re not being loaded in your rehab appointment, what are you actually paying for?
Try asking your therapist what those stupid passive stretches are meant to be achieving and enjoy the resultant stunned silence…..

The volunteer community who support Ukraine are beyond heartbroken at the loss of one of our best. Chris, or Swampy as he was and will always be known, was an absolute unquestionable hero, bona fide lunatic, and someone I just adored. Chris dedicated his life to landmine and ordinance clearance, alway putting his life on the line for the sake of others. He was cheeky, irreverent and a delight to be with but, most or all, he was an inspiration and a friend. I ask you to follow and follow to learn more about him and celebrate his life as legends like him deserve no less.
Chris, you rotten sod, you would do anything you could to get out of taking me on the range. I’ll see you in Valhalla and you’d better have the kit ready as you’re not getting out of it that easily
And yes, we’ll all miss you, but you knew that ###
