Major Incident Sim Day! 🏥
On May 13th and 14th, one of the UK’s largest University-based major incident exercises will be running. Over 500 people will be involved from a broad inter-professional scope of undergraduate and professional backgrounds, including members of the emergency services, Great Western Air Ambulance critical care team and local NHS, business and resilience colleagues.
The main aim of the exercise is to look at inter-professional working in an acute environment and, as well as medical students, will include student nurses, radiographers, theatre staff, paramedics, police cadets and trainee journalists.
This training day is only available for those in their 5th year of medical school who have passed finals.
