18 incredible students graduated from our four-year Professional Training programme yesterday. They’ve navigated big life changes, shown true dedication, built lasting friendships - and worked their socks off to get here. We’re so proud to now call them fully-fledged homeopaths. We’d recommend every single one of them as a practitioner - that’s how good they are. Congratulations Class of 2025 - we’re really going to miss you!

A short excerpt from last Sunday’s mind-expanding seminar with Tony Hurley: The Periodic Table and Mineral Remedies.

Here, Tony speaks about Hydrogen — the first element of the periodic table. In homeopathy, it can reflect a state of being so far from the material, so “spaced out,” that the person feels barely that they have come into the world at all. Completely fascinating stuff as always!

We have a fantastic one-day online seminar coming up in June and are opening limited spaces for people outside the college to join.

Since its discovery over 150 years ago, the iconic Periodic Table of the Elements has inspired scientists, writers, developmental theorists, psychotherapists and medical practitioners. In this seminar, the legendary homeopath, Tony Hurley, will look at this whole area of study and discuss its relevance to our own work in homeopathy.

The cost for the day is £20 for all college alumni and £25 for anyone else. We are operating on a first come first served basis. To book a place, please email our college coordinator - louisem.hall@gmail.com

We’re big believers in the value of face-to-face teaching and love our college weekends at Engineers’ House in Bristol. It’s not just about the lectures - it’s the conversations in between, the questions that spark new ideas and the energy that comes from being in the same room or having a cuppa together in the sunshine!

We’ve loved having Margot Maidment teach our Year 1 and Year 4 students this year. Margot was once our college registrar, over 20 years ago, and has continued to be a valued lecturer, supervisor and assessor. Whether she's teaching materia medica, homeopathic philosophy or guiding the student clinic, you can expect thorough notes and research and a wisdom that comes from many years of experience.

Margot loves to read and describes herself as a bibliophile. She is particularly interested in homeopathic practice and homeopathic education, as well as in personal and social development of the practitioner, including Reflective Practice. She is on the steering group of the South West Homeopathic Group, an organisation dedicated to CPD and peer support which, in its current mainly online form, attracts an international audience.
