The solution focus approach is oriented around the premise that the client is unique, not only as an individual autonomous being but also as a part of a wider societal group. As a consequence, the client can and is the only person who can develop a personalised approach towards finding solutions to their personal challenges. The coach's role in all this is to help facilitate this process by asking

relevant questions to help the clients recognise instances in which their personal challenges are either less pronounced or not present at all. My skills can support you in whatever challenges you might be currently facing, including stress management, improving resilience, personal development, well-being, and interpersonal skills. I am a Solution Focused Coach with a wide range of knowledge and skills developed over my coaching career of almost 30 years. I enable clients to develop a more positive mindset in order to interact better with others and make changes to their lives either professionally or personally. What you are aware of and focus on will influence how you feel, if you change your focus you can feel and act differently. This may help you improve your balance between home life and work, enhance your relationships, increase resilience, become more effective, reduce stress, and improve your self-care. All sessions can be customised to meet client’s needs and I offer one-to-one coaching in both business and personal settings, both online and in person. Over a series of sessions, I will enable you to assess where you are currently, then work with your preferred future and co-devise strategies that work best for you. I offer private coaching, coaching at work, or team coaching. I also deliver wellbeing to work training for all levels of staff. My areas of expertise include:
Resolving conflict and establishing better functioning relationships
Managing stress, uncertainty, and change
Developing positive thinking, problem-solving, and motivation
Improving interpersonal communication style, assertiveness, anger management, negotiation skills, and personal effectiveness
Raising self-esteem, resilience, confidence, and wellbeing
Improving performance, time management, and effectiveness

Sessions typically last for 45 minutes and are done online, by phone, or in person. Working hours are 9:30-5:30 weekdays and 09:00-12:00 Saturdays (if these times do not suit you please contact me to see if we can find a mutually convenient time). Currently, pricing is not fixed, so you just pay whatever you can afford (5% of all my income is donated to Samaritans Charity).
