Katie Despres, Family & Systemic Constellations Facilitator & Yoga Teacher Family Constellations Facilitator & Yoga teacher Katie Despres is a Systemic Constellations Facilitator and Yoga Teacher based in Bristol, UK.

She is known for her down-to-earth yet intuitive approach, combining over 10 years of experience in yoga and personal transformation. Through constellation therapy and yoga, she helps people release limiting patterns, reconnect with their bodies and intuition, and step into clarity and empowerment. Katie offers monthly constellation workshops, 1:1 sessions, and couples work in Bristol. She trained

to an advanced level, including Couples & Intimate Systems, with the Centre for Systemic Constellations under Gaye Donaldson and Chris Williams. Coming from a complex blended family, an inter-racial marriage, and a step-parenting dynamic, Katie brings deep personal insight into her work. She is known for saying the things others wouldn’t, and for never changing herself to suit people. Her approach is steady, clear, and human — rooted in the belief that transformation doesn’t have to be lofty or abstract, but grounded in the everyday realities of how we live, relate, and carry what came before us.

🌀 Last call – Family Constellation Workshop this Tuesday (15 July)

We’re halfway through the year — a natural moment to pause and reflect:
What feels unresolved? What might be ready to shift before the second half unfolds?

The Issue Holder places have now been taken by those who felt ready to explore something in their lives — and the group is shaping up beautifully.

But there’s still time to join as a Representative, and I’m offering a 2-for-1 ticket deal — bring a friend or split the cost 🙌

💫 What does it mean to be a Representative?
Being a rep means you take part in other people’s constellations — stepping into roles within their family or system.
You might be asked to represent a person, an emotion, or even something abstract like "guilt" or "freedom".
You don’t need to know how — the process is intuitive and embodied.

Many people say it’s a surprisingly powerful experience — even without speaking or sharing anything personal.
You’re simply present, and the field begins to work through you.

Often, something in what you represent speaks to your own life too — gently offering clarity, release, or perspective.

Here’s what someone shared after joining as a rep:

“If you are considering attending, do it. Go as a representative for the first time and go with an open mind.
It is easy to describe the layout, the order of the evening, how it functions etc,
but it is more difficult to describe how the energy in the room is transformative.
I think we all left a little lighter and with more compassion for ourselves and each other.”

🗓 Workshop details:
Tuesday 15 July
6:15–9:15pm
Subud Hall, Clifton, Bristol

Final Call: Where Are the Men?

This Friday we open the space for a day of constellation work in Bristol. A few spots left — and so far, it’s women who’ve stepped forward.

Where are the men?

The ones carrying the silence of absent fathers.
The weight of responsibility.
The unspoken pressure to be fine, hold it all together, never look back.

Constellation work offers a different path.
Not therapy. Not performance.
Just a spacious, grounded place to see what’s really been handed down — and begin to lay it down.

Jamie Colston and I are co-facilitating. Jamie brings a deeply rooted, compassionate presence that speaks directly to men’s experience of this work. It’s not just for women. It never was.

If you’ve been hovering — this is your invitation.

🌿 What if there was a practical way to shift your relationships — without years of therapy?

Whether it's your partner, your team, your child or your parents —
Most of us are repeating patterns we didn’t choose.
They’re not just personal. They’re systemic.

This one-day workshop offers a clear, grounded introduction to Systemic Constellations — a method that helps you see the hidden dynamics that shape how you relate, and shift them.

You’ll leave with:
– A deeper understanding of what’s really going on beneath relationship dynamics
– Embodied tools you can use — in work, parenting, family, and partnership
– A rare chance to learn this work both theoretically and experientially

This isn’t spiritual fluff.
It’s practical, embodied, and rooted in reality.

✨ NEW: Bring a friend or colleague
We’ve added a 2-for-£142.50 ticket option — just £71.25 each.

The stories we hold .. shape our lives & how we live them

Family Constellations give us the opportunity to view these stories from a different perspective

This is not saying the original story is not true & should be disregarded

But that maybe there are other parts we haven’t considered or felt…
And. maybe if we stand in a different place & looked from a different direction ..

This new view point, could offer some shifts & movements that help us to return to the flow of life

🌿 Why the empty chair?
Because someone’s story is waiting to be seen.

In our upcoming Family Constellation Workshop in Bristol, we’ve got 2 final places for issue holders — people who are ready to explore something that feels unresolved in their life or relationships.

What is an issue holder?
It’s someone who brings a personal challenge, question, or repeating pattern to explore within a safe and held group space. You don’t need to have it all figured out — just a sense that something in your life wants to shift. Constellation work can help uncover hidden dynamics and create real movement.

✨ This work is for you if:
– You’re feeling stuck in a relationship or life decision
– You’ve tried to change something, but it keeps looping
– You have a deep sense that “this isn’t just mine”
– You’re open to exploring what sits beneath the surface

Attending a Family Constellation Workshop is a deeply moving experience as it reminds us how inter-dependent we are ....
In a constellation we can experience emotions & body sensations on behalf of another unrelated individual, as well as those in our own family systems including the generations before

This experience gives us the opportunity to widen our view point, to gain a greater perspective ... to see the whole systems to which we belong too & the impacts from that .. the challenges, gifts & rewards

Its known as phenomenological work or movements of the soul
