Feeling the first Christmas feels this afternoon up at Monika's beautiful spot .forest.nursery 🌲🌲🎄🎄
Huge thanks to Monika for creating such a special place and providing us with the space and resources to host our wreath making afternoon. More special thanks to Worrall for lending us her expertise.
Also, of course, our wonderful past participants and friends who joined us for such a special afternoon connecting with nature and each other. Our cups are full! 💚💚💚

Today, our young participants practised zen breathing, visualising their favourite places, people, animals, and things, then crafted them from clay.
Some of our young adults were resistant to touching the clay and felt a big sense of achievement, having overcome their fears and had a go.
They went home excited to paint their creations with their personal assistants. 💚 Thank you,

Wow 👌 a really beautiful day - gorgeous sun - and a soul-enriching morning with our third group of over-55s in Clitheroe. It was a perfect day for affirmations, intention-setting, and honest, generous discussion. We were treated to a sound bath and gorgeous buffet lunch. We are so thankful for our funders and Ribble Valley CVS for believing in us and funding this project. We are grateful for our wonderful participants who show up each week and their valuable feedback, which helps support our growth as creative well-being providers. ✨️

Today, we had our first creative therapy session with a group of young students at Accrington and Rossendale College . Kate had the pleasure of working alongside the fantastic ; a counsellor/educator colleague and friend of Sim's.
Working with this age range (age 16-18) was a new experience for us, and we were prepared for some resistance. However, the students were brave and open to have a go working creatively and share their vulnerabilities around difficult emotions. This was an insightful first session, and we are looking forward to next week already. ✨️

It was a beautiful session yesterday cultivating that lovely whole body feeling of joy. Through meditation, togetherness, sharing, and getting our hands stuck into clay. A superb way to connect with nature and your creativity. 💫
Animals, family, travelling, food, and nature were the themes that presented themselves in various forms or another. It was an uplifting start to the week!💚💚💚
We are taking bookings for our next block of 6 FREE creative wellbeing sessions for over-55s. Guided by a BACP Counsellor and Holistic Creative Therapist, expect a safe, warm place to explore yourself creatively.📆 Starts Monday 24th November 2025 at Trinity Clitheroe with a 2-week gap for Christmas.🎄

We had a great day meeting a lovely group of young adults and their personal assistants last week in Rawtenstall at Rossy Rays Rossendale Rays 😊 Exploring emotions and where and how we feel them in the body through creating a body map and expressing ourselves through hip hop style movement. 🗺️🕺
Thank you, , for funding our IMPACT project. So far, we have delivered nearly 50 sessions with adults with disabilities across 4 centres around Lancashire.
