It's been a while since I posted on FB so thought I should show the latest pics taken by Kimi Watson of my yoga studio.....it's a cosy space for my 121 clients. A quiet and private space where people feel safe to explore breathing practices and movement away from the crowd.

Enjoying some time away on the beautiful island of Kefalonia - swimming and reading and laughing.

These last few months have been really busy - lots of classes and new teaching opportunities which is brilliant but I was feeling in need of a rest. Most classes will resume but with a paired down summer schedule over August whilst I hang out with my little Tom, whose getting bigger each minute!

Most of my practice and the practices I teach are centred around the breath... mostly because when the breath is allowed to dominate the practice, the mind is quieter. Can you let your breath drive the bus and your mind become the passenger?

1. Give attention to the felt sense of how your breath moves through you and in turn benefits the feelings generated in a posture.

2. Letting the pace of a moving sequence be dictated by your inhalation and exhalation. Let your body roll with your breath.

3. Using your breath to highlight where you're storing tension....how easy is it to let go as you exhale.
