**JOB VACANCY - RECEPTIONIST / PERSONAL ASSISTANT / PRACTICE MANAGER**
My secretary is leaving after working with me for 25 years, so the opportunity has arisen for someone to step into her shoes and join me and the team working at the Denise Park Physiotherapy Clinic, Peel Street, Clitheroe.
The practice started in 1989 and is a busy clinic. I have an international reputation for working with fell and mountain runners, although clients attend the Denise Park Physiotherapy Clinic from all sporting backgrounds and walks of life.
I am looking for someone who is comfortable speaking to people both face-to-face and over the phone. They are my 'front of house' so need to be pleasant, well-organised, trustworthy, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
Start date - mid to late August (date to be confirmed).
Hours - approximately 12 hours per week (possibly 3 hours on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri morning, although this is flexible and can be arranged to fit around other commitments / childcare / school hours).
The duties include:
- answering the phone and responding to answer-phone messages.
- booking appointments with Denise and managing the desk diary.
- responding to business emails.
- contacting new patients with appointment information.
- taking payment and recording payments.
- preparing invoices for individuals, health insurance companies and others working at the practice.
- speaking to other health professionals / medical secretaries where necessary.
- generally keeping the clinic clean and tidy, replacing sundries as required.
- managing the patient's files for appointments.
- ordering supplies and medical equipment.
- working closely with Denise and the rest of the team to help the practice run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, whilst providing a first-class medical service.
Salary - to be negotiated, but from £13/hour (based on previous experience).

I currently have rooms available for rent at my physiotherapy practice in Clitheroe. One is a clinical room with a desk and medical couch, and the other is more suitable for talking therapies. The rooms are available for individuals offering medical or health professional services (rather than beauty treatments).

‼️ 2021 Three Peaks Race rescheduled ‼️

Next race will be run on Saturday 9th October 2021.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 virus the Three Peaks Race Committee have taken the decision to reschedule the 2021 Three Peaks Race. Due to staffing availability we now hope to run the race on Saturday 9th October 2021.

We continue to monitor all government guidance and will review again in May 2021.

The decision has not been made lightly, but to put on this event we have to think about the safety of all the people of Horton in Ribblesdale, marshals. first aiders, CRO, Raynet, our committee members and all the competitors and supporters.

We will carry your entry fee and entry including t-shirts and raffle tickets forwards to the new race date. Alternatively anybody who is unable to compete in October 2021 will be eligible to either carry forward their entry to the 2022 Race on Saturday 30th April 2022 or get a refund of their Entry Fee (minus a small amount to cover entry costs) plus a full refund for any t-shirt or raffle ticket purchases.

Full details on the transfer or refund process will be confirmed by email to each participant shortly so please check your spam box.

On-line entry will currently be restricted to Transfer or Refund requests then re-open in full in May 2021 for new entries to the October 2021 race.

Can we respectfully remind you NOT to train over the Three Peaks while this pandemic is on-going, thank you.

We will provide any further updates on the website www.threepeaksrace.org and social media sites.

We look forwards to seeing you all at the rescheduled race on Saturday 9th October 2021.
