**JOB VACANCY - RECEPTIONIST / PERSONAL ASSISTANT / PRACTICE MANAGER**
My secretary is leaving after working with me for 25 years, so the opportunity has arisen for someone to step into her shoes and join me and the team working at the Denise Park Physiotherapy Clinic, Peel Street, Clitheroe.
The practice started in 1989 and is a busy clinic. I have an international reputation for working with fell and mountain runners, although clients attend the Denise Park Physiotherapy Clinic from all sporting backgrounds and walks of life.
I am looking for someone who is comfortable speaking to people both face-to-face and over the phone. They are my 'front of house' so need to be pleasant, well-organised, trustworthy, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
Start date - mid to late August (date to be confirmed).
Hours - approximately 12 hours per week (possibly 3 hours on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri morning, although this is flexible and can be arranged to fit around other commitments / childcare / school hours).
The duties include:
- answering the phone and responding to answer-phone messages.
- booking appointments with Denise and managing the desk diary.
- responding to business emails.
- contacting new patients with appointment information.
- taking payment and recording payments.
- preparing invoices for individuals, health insurance companies and others working at the practice.
- speaking to other health professionals / medical secretaries where necessary.
- generally keeping the clinic clean and tidy, replacing sundries as required.
- managing the patient's files for appointments.
- ordering supplies and medical equipment.
- working closely with Denise and the rest of the team to help the practice run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, whilst providing a first-class medical service.
Salary - to be negotiated, but from £13/hour (based on previous experience).
