This might be helpful for anyone wanting to lay down some good habits with a yogic satvic start to the day.
This is 3 days breakfast prep done in 5 minutes. With store cupboard ingredients, healthy, cheap and easy. You can make it vegetarian or vegan easily. And switch up the sweetener of choice(I use honey mostly but stevia or maple syrup work too).
I add frozen fruit the night before or fresh fruit in the morning depending what's available.
Sometimes I add collagen powder, nuts, seeds or peanut butter, protein powder choices are endless...
And you can eat it straight from the fridge or if its winter, you can heat it up in a pan.
Overnight oats done three ways.
The choc 1:
Base of oats(1/2 cup) with Cacao/cocoa, water or milk, desert spoon of plain yogurt and a touch of honey.
The golden 1:
Base of oats with turmeric, clove, ginger, cinnamon, water or milk, spoon of plain yogurt and a touch of honey.
The matcha 1:
Base of oats, teaspoon of matcha powder, water or milk and honey. I added frozen pineapple to this one as it's tomorrow's breakfast.
