This might be helpful for anyone wanting to lay down some good habits with a yogic satvic start to the day.
This is 3 days breakfast prep done in 5 minutes. With store cupboard ingredients, healthy, cheap and easy. You can make it vegetarian or vegan easily. And switch up the sweetener of choice(I use honey mostly but stevia or maple syrup work too).
I add frozen fruit the night before or fresh fruit in the morning depending what's available.
Sometimes I add collagen powder, nuts, seeds or peanut butter, protein powder choices are endless...
And you can eat it straight from the fridge or if its winter, you can heat it up in a pan.

Overnight oats done three ways.
The choc 1:
Base of oats(1/2 cup) with Cacao/cocoa, water or milk, desert spoon of plain yogurt and a touch of honey.
The golden 1:
Base of oats with turmeric, clove, ginger, cinnamon, water or milk, spoon of plain yogurt and a touch of honey.
The matcha 1:
Base of oats, teaspoon of matcha powder, water or milk and honey. I added frozen pineapple to this one as it's tomorrow's breakfast.

Equally, this course is great if you want to deepen your own practice.

The course is drip fed and you can do it at your own pace. It is video and text based and there are quizzes and assignments that you need to complete in order to receive certification.

Straight out of the shower after a quick cycle, a few moments for an practice before working online.
It's not the best handstand actually but I take these movement moments throughout the day. A Handstand, a few hip drills, or a standing balance, whatever my body calls for. And it's these consistent moments of movement that make a huge difference.
Don't get me wrong, I love a full yoga practice and I do that too. But when time is short and life is busy, 5 minute movement moments 5 times a day is a 25 minute focused skill set practice every day.
And I am particularly thankful for the strength it gives me or I think I would have broken something in my bike accident yesterday. But my wrists though painful survived the impact. And that strength and longevity of mobility is just one of the gifts a proper yoga practice will offer you.

So practice even if you have just 5 minutes, it will benefit you more than you might imagine.

You'll be surprised what you can do! All levels welcome from beginner to advanced. Congratulations students on completing the course and qualifying as yoga teachers, we are proud of you!
If you want to join us for yoga teacher training to deepen your practice or teach others there are multiple ways you can join us!
1. Come to study and practice at our yoga school up in the foothills of the himalayas in India, Dharmsala we hold and monthly from March until November every year.
2. Come and join our school this February as we make our 1st near essouaira in our fully inclusive private resort.
3. The hybrid method: Come and train with me in Wales privately or in a small relaxed group. Then fly over to India to our centre for the final week to learn how to work with advanced props in our fully equipped centre and all about Indian philosophy.

A little wheel practice for Shiva in the morning.
Now the kiddo is getting bigger I try to make the most of our trips here and he always joins some Indian style classes when possible. It's great for him to embrace his ❤️ too. This time it was music lessons learning the Indian scales sa re ga ma pa da ne sa, and a yoga martial arts class both with
Of course we practice singing and yoga at home and he joins in with my more active classes like partner yoga when he wants to. But it's nice to be taught by someone other than your mum lol...

So I think some gentle inspiration is being planted here and even though sometimes he isn't interested in joining in he does ask to practice sometimes.

I think that's the point isn't it, to instill the good habits so he can explore them when he's ready?

Amy’s Mission:

Amy is interested in sharing yoga as a means to benefit each individual person to improve their health physically, mentally, emotional and spiritually.

For whichever reason a student attends one of her classes Amy hopes to leave them feeling refreshed, stronger and closer to themselves.
