This week, we carried out a Dementia Friendly Environment Assessment in 4 East.

The assessment brought together different perspectives, including lived experience, Alzheimer Scotland, and our nursing team, to look at how the ward supports people living with dementia.

We’re introducing Patient Hub, a new online service designed to make it easier to manage your orthopaedic appointments.

Patient Hub allows us to send secure messages by text or email, giving you a simple way to view information and respond to your appointment online.

This will help improve communication and make it easier to keep your appointment information up to date.

We welcomed Bronte Tierney from Love to Ride to NHS Golden Jubilee to help promote their latest cycling campaign this week 🚴‍♂️

Love to Ride encourages people of all abilities to get on their bikes, supporting healthier lifestyles, improved wellbeing and more sustainable travel choices.

It was great to see staff learning more about the benefits of cycling and how to get involved. Whether you’re new to cycling or a regular rider, there’s something for everyone.

This week, our staff took time to pause, connect and enjoy a little kindness at our Kindness Culture Café 💙

It was great to see colleagues dropping by for a chat and a free tea or coffee with our Kindness Culture Champions, in a relaxed and welcoming space. The café gave staff the chance to connect with one another, share ideas, and talk about kindness, culture, and our Values and Behaviours Framework.
