This month, we said goodbye to Central Sterile Processing Department (CSPD) Manager, Barbara Casey, as she begins her well-deserved retirement.

Barbara has been part of NHS Golden Jubilee the hospital's HCI days, supporting CSPD through major growth, new specialities and significant milestones, including the transfer of Cardiothoracic services in 2008 and the opening of the Ophthalmic theatres in 2021.

From all of us at , thank you, Barbara, for everything you've done. Wishing you a happy and fulfilling retirement!
