Our next community Carers Café will take place on Thursday 25 September, from 2.30pm – 4pm in the Golden Bistro dining room at NHS Golden Jubilee💜

The Carers Café offers a relaxed, informal setting for people caring for someone living with Dementia as well as friends and family. Come along for a cuppa, a chat and peer support with others who understand what it is like to be a carer.

This , we are highlighting the incredible impact of organ donation and the importance of making your decision known.

After a sudden heart attack, Kevin Brogan’s only hope was a transplant. In 2024, he received the heart of James Alexander Borland, whose family made the decision to donate his organs after he passed away.

Kevin later met James’s mum, Audrey, a moment filled with emotion and gratitude. Her decision gave Kevin a second chance at life.
