⚠️ BMW 118i convertible, this customer unfortunately experienced the highest level of dishonesty and incompetence, from a garage down south. They failed after a few (costly to the customer) attempts to repair. They then proceeded to offer the customer £100 for her car after they deemed the engine irreparable.. 🤯

⚫️ We had the car collected from her home, and diagnosed with cylinder 4 injector failure, causing excessive white smoke. Also the oil warning light was illuminated due to variable oil pump solenoid failure. Due to this excessive flooding the spark plugs were changed as a precaution.

✔️ We took our time with this one, as the customer had such a bad experience with an incompetent garage, we wanted to make absolute sure that the car was returned after thorough post repair tests and run time. Customer was obviously thrilled, but more importantly trust and confidence in the trade restored.

⚫️ Previous garage did the discs and pads but never secured the brake pad wear sensor, which left the wire rubbing through, until it broke

⚠️ Mercedes A class brought in for an engine rattle, was advised by somewhere else that it may have been a water pump or timing chain issue

⚫️ Our diagnostic showed zero faults, once we got it on the ramp, it was apparent that the ac compressor was quite badly oxidised due to water ingress which was causing the major rattle the customer was concerned with

✔️ This one took longer than we would have liked after we were disappointingly let down by one of our parts suppliers, after a bit of shopping about we were able to obtain another part elsewhere saving the customer £££

✔️ Calliper pins were seized due to oxidisation, but after a few choice words and bruised knuckles we’ve probably saved this customer ££££ in new front callipers 👍
