Laura took part in my first 4 week group course during the first lockdown and it was amazing to see her shine throughout when she started focusing on herself!🥰

She started looking more into her health and nutrition, because she was feeling loving towards herself! And the SECONDARY result of that was weight loss.. that felt easy and nourishing!

This is one of the main reasons I transitioned from fitness coaching to helping women to love themselves from the inside out! Because that is the best way, and in my eyes the only true way to love yourself, your health, your body, your energy and your life!🙌🏻

I’M NOT GOOD ENOUGH 💔

I think this is one of the most common self limiting beliefs. I myself have told myself this for most of my life.

Thats 26 YEARS of allowing myself to believe that I am not good enough 🤯

It’s painful to think about someone else feeling that way. But, I can imagine a lot of people reading this will resonate?

I read a story the other day and they referenced a mini story:⁣
“I went into a classroom and asked the children who could sing, they all shot their hands in the air. I went into the same room with the sam people 13 years later, and asked who could sing. Around 3 put their hands in the air”⁣ 🤦🏼‍♀️

At what point do we change this beautiful childlike mindset that we are good at everything, that we are perfect as we are? What happens to us?⁣🤷🏼‍♀️

Nothing. We are always perfect. We are always that child inside. But our externals change us on the surface. They teach us stories we never chose to write. ⁣

You have the power to re-write these stories. To come home to yourself and remember the beauty of who you are. To know in each moment that you are perfect, you are capable and you are always more than good enough. ⁣❤️

Are you ready to re-write this story?⁣

A few years ago, I would have never walked around in a spa with a small bikini. I would have covered up.

Despite training in the gym for YEARS. Despite others telling me they thought my body looked great. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I would have been too self conscious. I would have been too worried about how I looked. I would have worried about being judged, looked at. 🙈

Now, I am happy in my body. I love her for how she is. I know I have worked hard for her. And I wear what I want to wear.. for ME.❤️

How did I make this change?
A diet? A training schedule?
Nope.

By loving ME. For ME.
And choosing to live my life FOR ME.

If you want to be confident and love your body, stop focusing too hard on your body and start being with your body!🥰

I had the big house, the beautiful garden, the perfect looking relationship, the engagement, a good job.

I still knew something was missing.🤷🏼‍♀️

I was in the best shape I had ever been, and I was a British champion.

I still didn’t feel whole. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Many of the women who I connect with are experiencing or have experienced this in their lives.
They felt like they were going CRAZY! They had done everything they were “meant” to do. They had been “successful” and they had worked their ASS off to do so.. and they still didn’t feel how they thought they would.

They still didn’t feel good enough. They still didn’t feel confident. They still didn’t love themselves in the way they thought they would.

That’s because they were missing the INNER WORK. 🥰

If you have ever or are feeling this way, and you have been waiting for the answers to true self love, look no further!

I heard this phase referenced on a podcast the other day during a discussion about perfectionism. And the pressures of being perfect. And I felt called to share it.

Turns out, a smooth golf ball hit by a professional golfer would travel only about half as far as a golf ball with dimples does.

Half. HALF. 🤯

Your dimples, bumps, bruises and past are what makes you strong, what makes you able to withstand pressure, to have a deeper understanding of yourself. Imperfections are beauty. Past traumas are strength.❤️

I pinched this phrase from one of the amazing women at my coffee morning last week. Each week we all take influence, support and inspiration from each other. And last week, this was my biggest takeaway. 🥰

I am a huge advocate for high standards. For yourself, your life, your boundaries, your love. But, so often, we are very slack when it comes to external people or factors meeting these high standards, but so harsh when it comes to ourselves. 🤷🏼‍♀️

You are not a robot. Sometimes you need time off.
You have emotions. They are all welcome and create contrast in life.
You will not always succeed first time (in fact rarely). But, failures bring lessons, success doesn’t.

In tomorrows coffee morning we will be talking about being a multifaceted woman, embracing and loving all sides of yourself.

If you would like to join us at 9am tomorrow.. comment IM IN below❤️🙌🏻

It takes no courage to believe you aren’t good enough.

Our limiting beliefs, the voices in your head that say “you can’t do this”, they are here to keep you safe, to keep you small, to prevent you from feeling failure, struggle or rejection. They are your friend in many ways but also your enemy in others. It can be very easy to accept these beliefs, to stay comfortable. ⁣

That way you stay away from any discomfort in the short term. Any of the difficulties or effort needed to re-write these. However, the pain will come in the long term. In the form of a life purpose that was never pursued. Or in the form of never proving yourself wrong and knowing you are good enough. ⁣

Real courage comes from looking your limiting beliefs in the eye, understanding them and comforting them. Telling them it’s time to be brave. Going against your old patterns and creating something new. It can be hard work at first, it can bring up traumas and pain, but in the end, it will pay off massively. ❤️

We see everything through our own unique perspective.

The context in which a certain situation is understood can completely contrast from that of another, even though it is the same situation. This context comes from our own inner beliefs, past conditioning, trauma and patterns.

This also applies when it comes to the value of something.
If you are brought up to believe material belongings are how you show your worth, you will view them as valuable assets. If you are someone who has experiences throughout life of material belongings being meaningless or equating to selfishness, you may see them as extremely unimportant or if even negative.

Understanding this is another way to understand yourself and therefore navigate what is and isn’t important to you, and more importantly WHY.

What are your values, and where did these values come from?
Are they a narrative you have created from external influences, or are they truly connected to you and your being?

External gratification is like fast food for the soul.

It gives you that quick fix, that sugar high, the feeling you were craving, then that feeling is gone almost as quickly as it came and you (and your body) are left without feeling satisfied, craving another high. The after affects of continually choosing it to get your high will leave you feeling low, lethargic and unaligned. It can even become a toxic addiction. 🙈

And, just like wholesome food, internal gratification will leave you feeling full, nurtured and energised. You will not need to chase the sugar kick, because your body and soul will already have everything it needs. The long term benefits of choosing to nurture your body and soul is health, happiness, energy and alignment. 🥰

This is a mindset shift that has helped me massively during my journey.
Looking for the lessons in everything.

The universe sends you messages by bringing things into your path that either teach you a valuable lesson or lead you to the path that is aligned with you. Wherever you are on your journey, you are either being shown, being guided or learning something.

Whenever you find yourself lost and confused, come home to yourself and ask yourself
“How is this serving me?”🤔

I heard this recently on a podcast recently.

Imposter syndrome is something myself and my clients have experienced on several occasions. Especially if you are someone who is an entrepreneur or someone on a spiritual journey on a path of inner growth. We often find ourselves stepping into the next level and becoming overwhelmed with the feeling of

“Who am I do to this?!”🙈

And this feeling comes from the belief that we should be prepared and even “qualified” for what we are doing. However, for those of us who are into growth, stepping up, reaching the next level. We are also often striving for those moments of discomfort that are a sign of levelling up.

Stepping into the unknown is a vital part of progression.
If you have made it to that new place, you are already qualified.👸🏼🥰
