Ladies, I've opened up my books from the 12th April onwards now.

I've contacted everyone who was on my waiting list, if I've missed you please get in touch!

I will be getting my vaccine soon hopefully.

Please be aware that the previous precautions still apply and that I don't have childcare during the day, so bookings will be limited to the evenings unless you are happy for me to bring Amory to appointments (she'll be going in her high chair as I've never seen a child so skilled at making a mess before even knowing how to walk), Tuesday to Wednesdays between school hours only.

I hope you're all keeping well and I can't wait to get back to work!

A huge thank you to all of my customers throughout this incredibly crazy year! I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and are healthy and safe.

My apologies again to everyone I had to suddenly cancel last week; I've luckily (finally!) had surgery and am recovering well at home. I'll be taking next week off as well and keep monitoring my ability to lift and bend before returning to work.

Once I'm back to work I'll be contacting everyone in order to see if you'd like to rebook, to keep things fair.

If not, I wish you all a happy New Year and fingers crossed it'll be better than this one

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced earlier today that England will be leaving its national lockdown on 2nd December, and will be replaced by a tougher tiered system.

Personal care is permitted to re-open on 2nd December, no matter the tier.

We are excited to be reunited with our much-loved hair and beauty professionals once again! 🧡

Aaaand, here we go again!

If you need any treatments please message me ASAP as I will have to cancel any appointment after Thursday.

Keep safe everyone

I'm taking bookings from 4th September on wards, for my full range of treatments!

Things will be a bit different than before to ensure everyone is kept safe:

- Limited appointment slots each day
- Additional PPE to what I normally wear
- Clients are asked to wear a face mask as well (can be removed if necessary for treatment), unless exempt for health reasons
- I will ask to wash my hands before treatment; the client should wash their hands as well if having their nails done
- Each client will have their own set of disposable items such as files. Other tools will be thoroughly cleaned in between clients
- I will ask to dispose of my rubbish at your home, rather than taking it with me as I usually do
- I will message the day before to check if you've had any symptoms or become ill

Hello lovelies!

As you might know the government has allowed the beauty industry to open again, for services that do not involve the facial area. This means I would now be able to perform waxing of other regions of the body and nails.

Although this has been long awaited news and I'd hoped to be back to work now I've made the difficult decision to delay this until the 24th August.

As well as contemplating what to do with regards to bringing baby to work, I've recently developed issues with my gallbladder as a result of pregnancy and am awaiting tests to confirm what exactly is happening and form a plan of action. I often experience painful episodes that last for hours. These happen without warning and not always through triggers, leaving me very tired and unable to carry out services.

I don't feel it would be fair to book anyone in until this is resolved, especially as a solution likely involves surgery.

I know some of you have been waiting for appointments; please book in elsewhere if you feel you can't wait any longer.

I appreciate everyone's support through these strange and difficult times and I hope to see you all soon once I get back to work!

As per the latest update I will not be returning to work on the 4th July.

A lot is still unclear and it seems the advice may change soon but for now I'm still not taking any bookings to avoid having a cycle of having to constantly rebook everyone.

As soon as I'm able to go back to work I'll post an update.

Keep well everyone, we'll get those brows tamed and nails polished soon

Update!

I will be returning to work from 4th July, obviously subject to change as and if regulations allow me to do so.

There will be some changes to appointments as follows:

- I will only book 1 client a day, appointments can only take place in the evening during the week due to childcare. This will allow me to thoroughly sterilise my equipment between clients. I will continue to wear gloves as usual as well as a face mask and request to wash my hands as needed.

- I cannot book you in if you or any members of your household are vulnerable or displaying symptoms of (any) illness. Please let me know if you become ill before your appointment, even if it's only 10 minutes before!

- I will have to bring baby with me as she is exclusively breastfed and not happy to take a bottle from daddy. Whilst she is a little piggy and feeds quickly this means appointments may take longer than usual. I will cover up as much as possible or nurse in a different room as requested but leaving baby at home is not an option; if you're not comfortable or happy with this then please say so!

Times are strange and I hope everyone is keeping safe and happy. Thank you to everyone for your support and wishes when Amory was born, I'm hoping you can meet her soon

Covid update:

I don't use Facebook a lot anymore for the business as most of you are not on it but felt it necessary to post due to the present circumstances and not being able to reach a few of my clients.

I am continuing to work mostly as normal for the moment being.

I will be in touch with you before your appointment to check that you're still happy for me to come out and that you're not self-isolating or ill.

I thoroughly regret that I will not be able to book appointments for those of you who are at high risk as I feel it would be irresponsible for me to do so. Please let me know when you book in if you do have any issues as I would have to cancel.

As per usual I'm sterilizing equipment between clients but will also spray with disinfectant as I'm working. I'm still wearing gloves due to hygiene and my own allergies but I'll ask to wash my hands on entry and before I leave. I would also like to ask to dispose of any rubbish in your household bin, rather than taking it with me and binning it at home as I have been doing.

Being just over 3 weeks away from my due date I may have to isolate if the advice changes or if baby arrives but I aim to give you as much notice as possible.

Thank you all for your continued business and please keep yourself and your loved ones safe!
