I love this quote and it’s so true….

Solution focused hypnotherapy focuses on the solutions rather than the problems which we often may not have control over. As focusing on the problems often makes us feel worse and keeps us in that negative thinking loop. We also focus on the present and future, rather than the past as delving into the past can be unhelpful and we cannot change the past.

We focus on the positive rather than the negatives and what we do have control over, what we want to achieve with our goals 🎯 How we can work towards managing and coping with our concerns better.

Things that have been good recently and positives:

β€’ Series 3 of one of my favourite series is out and being able to watch this whilst in bed 😍
β€’ Seeing my grandma πŸ’—
β€’ I’m really into vanilla matcha at the moment and brought a new cute cup for this πŸ’–
β€’ Getting my steps in. Using my walking pad as well to get extra steps inπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜
β€’ We got new syrups bottles and I love these πŸ₯°
β€’ Garden centre trips getting our free hot drink and having lunch 😍
β€’ Using this lovely room for hypnotherapy for my clients πŸ’—

As you can see these don’t have to be big life events or changes, they can just be them small wins which make you feel good, happier and more positive.

In solution focused hypnotherapy we call these the 3 p’s. These consist of positive actions, positive interactions and positive thoughts. When we do these we get feel good chemicals in our brain and we can cope with everything in life a lot better. We feel happier, more positive, less anxious and stressed.

In hypnotherapy we focus on these at the start of the session, as it keeps you in that positive part of the brain. Clients also write down their β€˜what’s been good’ outside of sessions to keep that progress and positive mindset going.

We should celebrate the wins in life no matter how big or small they are πŸ™‚ In solution focused hypnotherapy we focus on the 3 p’s which consist of having positive actions, positive interactions and positive thoughts. We get feel good chemicals from doing these which helps us to cope with everything in life a lot better, feel more positive, less overthinking and feel happier. It also helps to keep us in the intellectual (positive) part of the brain where we are often more rational and have a more positive outlook on life.

Positives wins from my clients this week: βœ¨πŸ’–

β€’ Recently I have managed to deal with things in life better and with a more positive, less stressful outlook. Not letting this overwhelm me like it usually would.
β€’ I managed to go round my friends one evening without letting my anxiety take over and stayed around for longer than I usually would be able to cope with.
β€’ Managed to get myself out of a panic attack by using the coping strategies i have learnt.
β€’ Went back to the gym after some time off and working on getting myself into a healthier routine with this.
β€’ I am sleeping much better and not waking up as much as I used to. Also getting off to sleep better as well.
β€’ I enjoyed time outside in the sunshine and had lunch with my son in the garden. I managed to relax and have some chill time to myself.
β€’ I went to the pub after work with my friends and enjoyed this.
