Our residents thoroughly enjoyed a visit from a group of children from Holy Cross primary school last Thursday. They sang, played games and crafted with the residents. A fun filled afternoon had by all. 💕

What a truly wonderful day we had celebrating Kath’s 103rd birthday here at Silver Oaks Care Home! 🎉💐

Thank you to everyone who helped make Kath’s special day so memorable - from the children at Whitwick St John the Baptist Primary, Penguin Preschool and Whitwick Holy Cross School, to our wonderful staff, local MP Amanda Hack and visitors from RAF Cranwell and the WAAF.

Kath was surrounded by flowers, cards, gifts and friends. We made sure she had the full “Silver Service” treatment to mark this incredible milestone. 🌸

She told us it was one of her best birthdays ever and we couldn’t be happier to have celebrated such a remarkable lady. 🎂💐
