On behalf of her loving family ,Thomas Sneddon Family Funeral Directors respectfully announce the recent sad passing of a well known Grangemouth lady, The Late Agnes Brown Dougall , known by all her family and friends as Nan.

Nan passed away very peacefully at Caledonian Court Care Home on the 30th of July 2025, Aged 92 years. Nan will be sadly missed by all family and friends who knew her.

A Celebration of Nans life will be held at Falkirk Crematorium on Wednesday the 13th of August at 10.45am to which all family and friends are most welcome to attend.

Charitable donations will be welcome in Memory of Nan to Alziemers Scotland with grateful thanks.

Our thoughts are with all of Nans family at this difficult time.

Gone from our arms, But forever held in our hearts.

Thomas Sneddon Family Funeral Directors are honoured to be entrusted with the professional care and funeral arrangements for the late John Stevenson Anderson, of Grangemouth, who sadly passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on 23rd July 2025, aged 76 years.

John’s funeral service will be held at Falkirk Crematorium on Tuesday 19th August at 12:15pm, to which all family and friends are welcome to attend. On the day charitable donations will be welcome in memory of John to Ward 4 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Alzheimer’s Scotland.

Our thought’s are with all of John’s family and friends at this difficult time.

George’s funeral service will be held at The Grange Manor Hotel on Monday 28th July at 1pm, thereafter New Grandsable Cemetery at 2pm, where George will be laid to rest. On the day charitable donations will be welcome in memory of George to Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs.

Thomas Sneddon Family Funeral Directors are very honoured to be entrusted with the professional care and funeral arrangements for the Late Mary Boyle Smith, a well known resident of Bankhead Avenue in Coatbridge , who passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Monklands Hospital on June 30th 2025, Aged 81 years.

Mary will be received into St Monica's RC Church on Thursday 10th at 6pm.

A Requem Mass for the Repose of Mary's soul will be held on Friday 11th at 10am, and thereafter to Old Monklands Cemetery where Mary will be reunited with her parents.

Thomas Sneddon Family Funeral Directors are very honoured to be entrusted with the professional care and funeral arrangements for the Late Ian Christie Aitken.
Ian passed away very peacefully with his loving family by his side at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on the 29th of June 2025, at the age of 63 years.

Ian will be sadly missed by all family, and the many friends who knew him.

A Celebration of Ians life will be held at Falkirk Crematorium on Thursday the 10th of July at 1.45pm to which all family and friends are most welcome to attend.

Ians family would appreciate if those attending wear colourful attire.

Family Flowers only please ,donations are most welcome in aid of Strathcarron Hospice in Ians memory.

Thomas Sneddon Family Funeral Directors are honoured to be entrusted with the professional care and funeral arrangements for the late Janet Steedman Gibson, of Stenhousemuir, who sadly passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on 28th May 2025, aged 86 years.

A requiem mass for the repose of Janet’s soul will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes & St Bernadette’s RC Church on Wednesday 18th June at 11am, thereafter committal at Falkirk Crematorium at 12:15pm. On the day charitable donations will be welcome in memory of Janet in aid of Strathcarron Hospice.

Thomas Sneddon Family Funeral Directors are honoured to be entrusted with the professional care and funeral arrangements for the late Julia Logan Taylor, of Larbert, who sadly passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on 26th May 2025, aged 96 years.

Julia’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday 10th June and will be held in private. Now reunited with her “handsome Peter”.
