Humming is one of the quickest ways to calm your mind!

It helps regulate your nervous system and gently quiet overthinking, when you hum you stimulate the vagus nerve, which is responsible for bringing the body into a calm, safe state. It also naturally slows your breath and can shift you out of that busy, overthinking mind.

Happy (belated) birthday to Piscean Dream! 💖🌊

Thank you to each and every single person who has continued to support my wee dream over the last 3 years! I can’t believe it’s been 3 years already, I remember texting my friend asking her to help me choose a name! And now look at it, so much growth, so much community & so much bloody love. I am eternally grateful for everyone who has allowed me to play a part in their journey, from massage treatments all the way to retreats, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I am unbelievably proud & thankful every time I look out at my wee wellness hut, knowing it’s a place I’ve created for others to feel safe & cared for.

Here’s to another beautiful year together 💖

Just a wee video explaining how OCD affects me, I’ve spoken more deeply about this on other videos but this wee trigger happened today and I wanted to share.

OCD is a term that’s been thrown about for as long as I remember for ‘trivial’ things. Someone liking order in their home, or not allowing outdoor footwear inside. The truth is, OCD is a debilitating, horrendous disorder that can completely take over someone’s life.

If you are ever struggling with something that you may think is OCD please please reach out and seek professional support because you absolutely can get your life back.

I spent years thinking I’d never live my ‘normal’ life again but with the right strategies I can honestly say 9 times out of 10 I’m back in control. I’ve learned out to control my mind again instead of OCD controlling me.

And for those who think OCD is just someone being clean, please research into it.

5 ‘woo woo’ things that keep me going & save me daily.

1. Herbal teas have been a game changer. I lived off coffee & tea - I still drink coffee don’t get me wrong! But a little lemon balm tea at the end of the day is always a good go to.

2. I avoid sunglasses first thing - I use to wear sunglasses 24/7 as I had very light sensitive eyes & could easily trigger migraines but this has really improved since I’ve stopped wearing them so much. Morning sunlight in my eyes helps the brain wake up properly which helps improve sleep & regulate hormones.

3. Daily journaling really helps me off load my day, empty my mind & also reflect on all the positives & helps me to be more grateful.

4.Cold water therapy - no shock there, if you’ve even glanced at my page you’ll know this is a biggy for me! Cold water therapy has many amazing benefits but for me, personally, it’s my mental health life line. It’s silence, peace, me, my breath & the cold.

5. Intentional breathing. The breath is literally magic. The way we can change the pace, the depth, the length! These things all matter and the more we breathe intentionally the more the breath can help us regulate in the way we need to.

Today was all about embodiment & honouring ourselves in the present moment. We push through so much, striving for more, to better ourselves, to grow, to change, to become more.
Whilst I truly believe in self development, wanting to make changes, ‘bettering’ ourselves & overcoming fear’s & anxiety, I also believe that we need time to stop, to pause, to be who and where we are in this very moment & to be ok with that. To honour who we are before the becoming.

Today, I invite you to stop for a second, to breathe & to honour who you are in that exact space. You are worthy of it all. ✨

As always, thank you to the beautiful souls to ventured out today & put their trust in me, that was COOOOOOLD!!!
