A little about us, is just to say we are Animal loving, food loving, Gin loving people...(wink! wink!)
As a husband and wife we have long practiced our simple and genuine philosophy that if you make your body a better place to be then your mind will follow and vice versa. Fusing the body with the mind in order to help you through your day with less stress and worry and more of a content connection and grounding to you and the world around you.

We endeavour to make your time with us as friendly, open yet professional as we can and take care and pride in helping you on your way through your health and well being journey wether they be in a class environment or in private sessions.

As you'll see from below we have spent years studying and qualifying in these disciplines and practices and have used these qualifications and experiences to grow and learn as people and also expand our business

Angela has an HonDegree Sports Science, 200hr Yoga Teacher Diploma, Diploma in Proper Breathing, HND Health and Fitness, Certified Chi Gung teacher for cancer patients, and Diplomas in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai Yoga, hot stone and aromatherapy massage, and Certificates in complimentary Skin care treatments and facials.​​​

Nicky has qualified with Highest Distinctions in Health and fitness, A Diploma Yoga Teaching, Massage Therapy and Spin class instruction as well as having a 20 year career as a professional actor working all over the world in Theatre, TV and film.

What I love most is how intuitive chakra work can be. Our energy changes constantly—some days we feel tired or disconnected, other days we’re lacking motivation, confidence, or clarity. Chakras offer a gentle guide to help us tune in and bring ourselves back into balance.

For me, working with chakras has been such a powerful way to check in with myself. If I’m feeling low, stuck, anxious or even just a bit ‘off,’ I can use my chakra knowledge to support whatever needs attention—whether that’s grounding myself, boosting energy, building confidence, or simply softening stress.

In this blog, I’m going to break down the chakra system in a way that’s easy to understand—even if you’re totally new to it. I’ll share how each chakra influences how we feel and how you can work with them in simple, practical ways to balance your energy. No complicated rituals required—just awareness, breath, and a little time to listen to your body’s wisdom.

Qi Gong Sat 23rd 10am! A soothing session to help you feel good ❤️

Did you know there are more than 72,000 nerve endings (some sources stating closer to 200,000) in the feet and 6 meridian channels either starting or ending there - Kidney,-bladder, stomach-spleen and the liver-gallbladder?

From the perspective of Chinese Medicine the feet are the foundation of our health and have an expression that implies we "die from the feet up".

Taking good care of your tootsies can help improve:

👣 Balance, reduce falling
👣 Digestion
👣 Mobility
👣 Slow down aging
👣 Help with chronic pain in ankle, knee & back

FOOT EXERCISE
~ Tiptoeing

1) Begin with feet hip distance apart, pointing as forward as they can then inhale and lift the heels onto the front of the foot or toe
Exhale gently lower the heels.
Repeat 30 - 50 times

2) This time bring heels closer together but feet in a v-shape. Repeat above 30 - 50 times.

3) Now, arrange the feet so the toes are almost meeting in an upside down v-shape and repeat the tiptoe action 30-50 times.

~ Repeat up to 4 times/ week for best results. This exercise is said to improve kidney-bladder and heart health therefore nourishing the whole body.

This qigong exercise is approximately 800 years old originating from the one of the baduajin (the 8 silken brocades) forms that invigorates the whole body. I will be teaching the full 8 brocade form at The Elliott Yoga & Wellness Studio on Saturday 23 August at 10 am as part of their 'Empower Hour' series.
