Residents enjoyed their weekly visits from our visiting therapy dogs Monty and Benji this week.

Biscuits and treats were on hand and lots of smiles from residents who enjoy their regular canine therapy!

Some photos from our wonderful Mad Hatters Tea Party last week . We raised over £100 with help of residents, friends and family members who all enjoyed some delicious cake and a cup of tea. All in the name of Charity!

Meet Monty ! He will be a weekly visitor to Springfield with his human Louise to offer comfort and puts smiles on residents faces! We have 3 different Pets as Therapy Dogs who visit us. They all enjoy spending time in the communal lounges as well as visiting residents who are frail and nursed in bed in their rooms.

Anyone for a roast dinner !!

We have a wide menu at Springfield. We offer a choice of two hot dinner options everyday enjoying our main meal at lunchtime and a lighter supper time menu including daily soup and sandwiches or a light meal.

We have a 4 week rotational menu and are now well into our Summer Season. Lots of salads, fruit and ice cream to be enjoyed alongside the staple favourites or roast dinner and Friday fish & chips!

Residents have been getting arty in July with the inspiration from the outdoors!
We have done some watercolour floral designs and painted some colourful rocks to celebrate National Rock Day ! We have used them to brighten up our garden pots and flowerbeds!

From Bugs to Baking!
Residents enjoyed making some sugar biscuits yesterday with vanilla icing and some old fashioned sprinkles.

We enjoyed them with our cup of tea at 3pm …nothing left but crumbs!
