We would like to tell you about our journey so far.
We started the Cambridge Plan after trying all the other diets out there with limited or no success. The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan?
Well, we were taking pain killers daily for sore back and aching knees, increased IBS and Fibro symptoms, struggling to keep up with the children, having little or no sleep due to disturbing snoring, were the heaviest we had ever been, very unhappy with our appearance and generally knew we had to act quickly for our health.
Since being on plan our results have been amazing, we have lost over 20 stone and 130 inches as a family and Denise has lost over 6 stone and over 44 inches, gone from a size 24-26 to a comfortable size 14- 16 and been maintaining for 8 months. Adele has lost 5 1/2 stone and an amazing 47 inch loss and gone from a size 18 to a comfortable size 8-10 and been maintaining for 18 months.
The success is even greater than the scales victory because we have already changed so much in our daily life such as; No snoring after 3 days on plan, Mr King can cross his legs (and constantly shows off about it) his blood pressure is back to normal, and he now walks everywhere instead of taking the car. For Denise, my resting pulse has reduced, I can walk without a sore back or knee, no IBS symptoms, reduced Fibro symptoms, I can have a relaxing bath in comfort, can sit comfortably in a plane seat. Adele no longer suffer from severe headaches, I walk most places instead of taking the car, I have a nice wardrobe now instead of wearing the same baggy t-shirts and most importantly have so much more energy to keep up with my energetic 4-year-old. If only we could bottle the feeling!
