Hi! To those of you who don't know me, I'm Jeanette, the founder of Amethyst 🥰
Established in 2010, Amethyst was created from a vision close to my heart — a space where beauty and wellness meet in a truly natural, holistic way.
With over 26 years in the industry, I’ve been privileged to work in two top local spas and was even selected to represent Oxleys at the head office of skincare brands Gatineau in Paris and Litya in Australia! My experience led to a love of training and I became Salon Manager and Head of training for 7 years at Oxley's in Keswick. Every step has shaped the ethos of Amethyst — results-driven treatments delivered with care, intuition, and deep respect for the whole person.
For me, this has never just been a job. It’s a journey. A journey I share with each and every client who walks through the door. I work intuitively, tailoring treatments to not only enhance outer beauty, but to restore balance, confidence, and wellbeing from within. There is nothing more rewarding than helping someone feel like the very best version of themselves.
As Amethyst continues to grow, my vision is expanding too — to create a collective of highly skilled, self-employed therapists working under one roof. A supportive space where experienced practitioners can thrive, grow their own businesses, and deliver exceptional holistic care together.
This is more than a business. It’s passion, purpose, and a community built on wellbeing.
