Our residents had two therapy ponies, Blondie & Wish visit recently and our residents loved stroking them. The ponies even had glitter on their hooves!

🎉 Huge Congratulations to Monica Graham! 🎉

We’re so proud to celebrate Monica’s achievement in completing her Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification through Lakes College! 👏

Monica joined us at Kirklands Care Home in 2020, bringing with her the compassion and dedication she developed while caring for her mum. Starting out new to the care sector, she has worked incredibly hard to complete her qualification.

She’s truly enjoyed the learning journey, but after all the hard work, she’s definitely ready for a well-earned rest! 🏆

Monica, we are so grateful to have you as part of our team and look forward to seeing all the continued care and passion you bring to Kirklands! 💙

✨🧧𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 🧧✨

Last week, our residents celebrated the Year of the Snake by creating their own handmade masks! 🎭 🐍The Snake symbolises wisdom, intuition and transformation.

Did you know? 🏮Chinese New Year is the Spring Festival, lasting 15 days and ending with the lantern festival. Fireworks, red envelopes and family gatherings, bringing prosperity and happiness to all.

Here’s to a year of new beginnings and endless possibilities!
