Dear Patients of the Practice.

As we welcome in the start of 2026, I am writing to let you know about a few changes we are making here at Derwent Dental Care.

We are in the process of installing a new computer system into the practice which will go live on Monday 26th January. Our current system is time consuming and requires patients to complete a new medical form every time they attend the surgery. The new system will instead enable patients to edit and update medical details on each visit and make online bookings along with other additional benefits.

In the long run this will improve efficiency and make booking easier.
However, there may be a few teething problems so please bear with us over the next few weeks while we make this transition. It may take our reception staff a bit longer to make bookings and deal with your enquiries while we learn the new system.

Please be kind to our staff during this transition. Thank you all for your patience!
