For the past couple of years, Amethyst Beauty in Cockermouth has been the home of my business, and it’s a place I’m proud to work alongside such a talented and supportive team.

Amethyst offers a wide range of professional treatments and therapies, from manicures, pedicures, and waxing to relaxing massage treatments and facials. Their full range of services can be found on their website.

As I don’t work full-time in massage therapy, appointment availability can sometimes become limited. If you’re struggling to find a suitable slot with me, I highly recommend Amy who works out of Amethyst, who also offers Sports Therapy and massage treatments. The clinic also provides additional wellbeing services that can work alongside your health and self-care routine, including cupping therapy, lymphatic drainage techniques, and McTimoney treatments with Tricia for structural pain and alignment issues.

Hi everyone, I’m Amy! I’m currently in my final few months at university studying Sports Rehabilitation, and I’m so excited to introduce Amy’s Recovery Studio 💜

This venture comes from my true passion for helping people recover, move better, and feel their best. I’ll be offering services including sports massage, cupping therapy, dry needling, and injury assessments to help with recovery, injury prevention, and overall wellbeing.

For those who are new here, I thought I’d properly introduce myself!

My journey started studying Complementary Therapy & Beauty, where I built my foundation in hands-on treatment and client care. From there, I worked delivering a wide range of massage therapies — but it was completing my Sports Massage qualification that changed everything.

That’s where I found my passion.

Helping people out of pain.
Helping athletes perform at their peak.
Helping people get their life back.

I’m now in my final year of my Sports Rehabilitation degree, just months away from qualifying — constantly learning, constantly levelling up.

For the past 5 seasons, I’ve worked with the first team at Annan Athletic FC — gaining real, on-pitch experience in injury management, rehab programming, and performance support in a competitive football environment.

This isn’t a hobby.
This isn’t a side hustle.
This is what I do.
