In addition to providing nursing and dementia care, we offer a range of services that can be used by residents (and non-residents again when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted) . Short term rehabilitation

After a period in hospital further convalescence may be needed before returning home. Here, our staff can help increase mobility, rebuild strength and boost confidence. Short breaks

Whether it’s

for four weeks or four months, we can provide round-the-clock care of the highest standard. (Rooms are subject to availability and a minimum four week stay.) Activities

We also run a range of activities on each wing and in our community hub that are both fun and engaging, from gardening and baking to games and quizzes. We also usually have a range of regular entertainers who come to visit us (not currently due to Covid-19 restrictions, but we look forward to welcoming entertainers again soon). Hairdressing

Our hairdresser is available for a cut and blow dry, set or short back and sides. (Booking in advance is advisable.)

We’ve celebrated in style with a delightful Mary Poppins tribute act, accompanied by a wonderful afternoon tea with delicious cakes. It’s been a practically perfect day for making special memories together! ☕🍰✨

Another day, another outing! This week we took some of our residents along to our local Warm and Toasty Club. The two-hour community gathering includes live music, refreshments, a raffle, and a wonderful opportunity to meet others and socialise.

Our residents were lucky enough to win a selection of prizes and thoroughly enjoyed singing along and dancing throughout the afternoon. It was a fantastic outing filled with laughter, music, and great company.

This week we celebrated Shrove Tuesday — and it was flipping amazing! 🥞

Residents rolled up their sleeves and joined us in the kitchen to make their very own pancakes. After choosing from a delicious selection of toppings, everyone enjoyed tasting their homemade creations. A wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, teamwork and plenty of sweet treats!

Happy belated Valentine’s Day from Foxburrow Grange!

We enjoyed a truly magical evening filled with love and romance. Partners joined their loved ones for an intimate dining experience at their own private tables, beautifully decorated with rose petals and candlelit lanterns lovingly prepared by our residents the day before.

With Pete George serenading everyone with a wonderful selection of timeless love songs, and delicious wine and dinner served throughout the evening, the atmosphere was simply enchanting. It was a celebration so special, we could have given any top restaurant a run for its money! ❤️

We are incredibly excited and proud to announce that we have received our VFF accreditation!

What better way to celebrate than with a special visit from Gordon from The Royal British Legion and Chrissy, our local Armed Forces Champion at Colchester Council.

Gordon kindly brought along a collection of war memorabilia for our veterans and residents to explore, sparking meaningful conversations and providing a wonderful opportunity to reflect on and learn more about our nation’s history.
