We also run a range of activities on each wing and in our community hub that are both fun and engaging, from gardening and baking to games and quizzes. We also usually have a range of regular entertainers who come to visit us (not currently due to Covid-19 restrictions, but we look forward to welcoming entertainers again soon). Hairdressing

Earlier this week, our residents had a wonderful time making bird feeders, bringing nature into our garden with their creative touch. 🌳🐦 We can’t wait for the little birds to visit and enjoy the treats made with so much care!

Inspired by their love for nature, our residents spent a delightful morning working on something equally creative—stunning artwork of birds and nests! 🎨🖌 Using a mix of materials, each piece was uniquely beautiful, full of colour and personality. The room was buzzing with excitement as everyone shared ideas, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment. 💚

It’s moments like these that truly highlight the power of creativity to bring people together. Whether it's painting, crafting, or simply enjoying each other's company, these activities create lasting memories and bring so much joy to our residents. 💃🕺 A Day of Fitness, Fun, and Dancing at Foxburrow Grange! 🕺💃

What an uplifting day we had at Foxburrow Grange! Our residents kicked off their fitness session sitting comfortably in chairs, wearing and using fun hats while shaking tambourines to some lively tunes! 🎵🎉 It was such a fun way to get moving, and the smiles said it all.

But the best part? The energy was so contagious that we couldn’t help but start dancing! 💃✨ From gentle swaying to tapping feet, it was more than just fitness; it was pure joy and connection. 🌿🐦 Bringing Nature to Foxburrow Grange: Bird Feeder Fun with Our Residents! 🐦🌿

This week at Foxburrow Grange, our residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative with a bird feeder-making activity. It was a beautiful day spent connecting with nature, laughing, and creating something special to brighten our garden. 🌳🕊

Using twine, seeds, and a dash of imagination, our residents crafted charming bird feeders that will soon be hanging on our garden trees. We can already picture the little birds visiting to enjoy the treats made with so much care and love. 🐦✨

🎶 A Wonderful Afternoon of Music & Joy at Foxburrow Grange 🎶

Last Friday was one of those magical afternoons we’ll cherish here at Foxburrow Grange in Colchester! 🎤✨ Our residents had the best time singing, dancing, and just enjoying the music together. 💃🕺 It was heartwarming to see everyone, staff and residents alike, sharing smiles, laughter, and a love for music. 🥰🎶

A big thank you to Pete George for bringing such energy and joy into our home. You truly made a difference, and we’re grateful for the memories you helped create. ❤️

🌿 A Fun Time in the Garden at Foxburrow Grange 🌿

Our residents have had the best time in the garden, enjoying the shade and some lively tunes! 🎶💃

They got busy arranging lavender from our garden into beautiful vases they made last week, danced a little, relaxed with a good book, and even worked on some jigsaws. 💜📚🧩

🌿🎨 Crafting Fun at Foxburrow Grange! 🎨🌿

On Tuesday, our residents had a blast getting creative with a fun crafting session! Using recycled cans, yarn, decorations, and glue, they transformed everyday items into beautiful, colourful vases. ♻️✨

It was such a joy to watch everyone’s creativity shine through as they added their own personal touches to each vase. Laughter, smiles, and lots of teamwork filled the room – a perfect way to bring our community together! 🌸💐

Our lovely residents recently enjoyed a fun-filled Games Day here at Foxburrow Grange! There were smiles all around as everyone took part in darts, quoits, ball games, and even a light-hearted hockey stick challenge. It was a brilliant day full of laughter, movement, and a bit of friendly competition!
