Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks or visible distress.
Sometimes, it hides in ways people don’t notice — even the person experiencing it. 💭
Here are a few less obvious ways anxiety can show up:
• Overthinking everything — replaying conversations or worrying about things that haven’t happened
• Being “busy” all the time — using constant activity to avoid sitting with thoughts
• Irritability or snapping over small things
• Trouble sleeping — either struggling to fall asleep or waking up feeling restless
• Physical symptoms — headaches, muscle tension, upset stomach, fatigue
• People-pleasing — finding it hard to say no or fearing letting others down
• Perfectionism — feeling like nothing you do is ever “good enough”
• Avoidance — putting off tasks, situations, or conversations that feel overwhelming
Anxiety isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet, constant, and easy to dismiss.
If this feels familiar, you don’t have to face it on your own 💙
