We’re excited to share a big step forward in how we support our clients at SENsational Minds.

Thanks to the fantastic work of our new Virtual Assistant, Lauren, we’ve now fully digitised our pre-assessment questionnaires across multiple pathways including adult ADHD and dyslexia. This means:

✅ Seamless electronic questionnaires
✅ Easy sharing with clients, schools, and informants
✅ A smoother, more efficient start to the assessment journey

This update not only saves time but also makes our service more accessible and streamlined for everyone involved.

It’s a change we’ve been meaning to implement for a while, and we’re so grateful to Lauren for bringing it to life. If you’ve worked with us recently, you’ll soon see the difference.

🌿 Planning an assessment for your child this summer?

If you’re hoping to book an Autism, ADHD or SpLD (Dyslexia) assessment with us during July or August, now is the time to get enrolled.

To make sure we can gather the essential school information before the summer holidays begin, children need to be enrolled in the service before 1st July. This allows us to contact schools in good time and ensure your child’s assessment is fully informed and supported. Making sure your outcomes aren’t delayed.

📣 We’re now offering SPLD assessments for children and adults – with 25% off this summer! 🌞

We’re delighted to let you know that SENsational Minds is now offering virtual Specific Learning Difficulty (SPLD) assessments, including dyslexia – for both children and adults aged 7+)

All assessments are carried out by APC-registered assessors, meaning they are fully compliant and don’t require reassessment. Each dyslexia assessment includes a complimentary feedback session, involving both parents and education staff, so that everyone is on the same page moving forward.

We currently have 25% off all dyslexia assessments booked for June, July, and August, so now’s the perfect time to get in touch.

At SENsational Minds, we were founded with a clear purpose. To bridge the gap between assessment and meaningful support for neurodivergent people.

Our story began in the classroom. Our founder saw first hand the impact of long waitlists and fragmented systems on neurodivergent children and their families. It became clear that there was a disconnect between medical assessments and what was actually happening in education and everyday life. SENsational Minds was created to change that.

We are a fully independent and bespoke provider of autism, ADHD and Specific Learning Difference assessments. We offer a complete package of post diagnostic support for children, young people and adults.

Sometimes the smallest gestures remind us why our work matters so much.

This miniature figure was gifted to me by an adult who recently came through our autism assessment pathway at SENsational Minds. It’s a tiny, handcrafted token but it carries incredible significance.

In six years of conducting ADOS assessments, this was the first time a client had brought a gift. They thanked us not just for the assessment itself, but for how promptly we saw them and how much care they felt throughout the process.

At SENsational Minds, we know that getting a diagnosis is not just a clinical procedure it’s a deeply personal journey. That’s why we prioritise timely access, human connection, and a neuroaffirming experience from start to finish.

This tiny figure now sits next to my computer as a daily reminder of the difference compassionate, specialist support can make.
