That sweet spot... between winter and spring. When the nights are still frosty but the sun is beginning to gently warm everything and the slightly longer days carry the promise of expansion and lightness.
Now that the New Year's rush to create newness has calmed down, I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself again.
I'm Felicia, and as you will guessed from my other posts, Colchester based yoga teacher. 2 years ago, I started teaching local classes in the villages around me. We've now well and truly arrived at our lovely base at Pattocks Farm in Great Tey. This is a dedicated, comfortable little studio, a really inviting space.
When I'm not teaching yoga classes, you can find me on walks in the area, in my allotment and garden, the local pubs, on city visits to London (I love the big city lights as much as the country) or at the University of Essex, where I teach German.
I love coffee and sunshine, kitchen discos and essential oils, theatre and travel, exotic food and live gigs.
Life is quite busy, so you won't always see me posting loads but when I teach my classes, there is nowhere else I'd rather be. It really is a privilege to teach these classes and I'm super grateful to all of you showing up on the mat every week.
If you ever fancy joining us in one of my
small, friendly classes, here is where and when you can find us:
Mondays 9.30-10.45 am
Wednesdays 7.00-8.15 pm
at Pattocks Farm, Great Tey
The Monday morning class is fully accessible, with chairs available for those with mobility issues or coming back from injury. Both my classes are traditional Hatha inspired and move at a manageable pace, incorporaring both flowing, energising sequences and longer-held, strength-building poses.
You are most welcome to get in touch for more information, message or email yogawithfelicia1@gmail.com or book a free taster via https://bookwhen.com/yogawithfelicia
Maybe see you on the mat some time?
