Jim wouldn't have been able to stay at home for as long as he did if it wasn't for St Helena Hospice nurses.
When his pain became unmanageable, Jim moved into the hospice. The nurses did anything they could to try to make Jim's life - and his family's lives - that bit better.
They celebrated his daughter Izzy's 5th birthday at the hospice, and arranged trips out to make the most of the time they had left together.
